If your OKX deposit page has been showing "Confirming" for a long time, it most likely means the transaction has not reached OKX yet and is still waiting in line on the blockchain for miners to pack it into a block. A stuck progress does not always mean something is wrong. In most cases, it simply means the required number of block confirmations has not been reached yet.

Step 1: Understand where "Confirming" is actually stuck
A deposit goes through three stages before it reaches your OKX account:
- Sent from the other platform: The exchange or wallet you are withdrawing from initiates the transfer.
- Confirmed by block miners: The transaction is broadcast to the blockchain network and waits for miners to include it in a block.
- Credited by OKX: Once the required number of on-chain confirmations is reached, OKX credits the asset to your account.
The "Confirming" status you see is usually stuck at stage two. Miners have not finished packing the transaction yet, so the asset is still waiting on-chain and naturally cannot enter your OKX account.
Step 2: Check the required confirmation time in your deposit records
You do not need to guess. The OKX deposit page clearly tells you how many confirmations are required for each coin:
- App: Bottom [Assets] → [Deposit] → top right more icon → [Deposit Records], then find the coin and check its status.
- The page will show the "confirmations required for crediting". This requirement is different for each coin and network. BTC usually requires 3-6 confirmations, while ETH requires 12. You can directly compare the current actual confirmations with the required number. If the current confirmations are equal to or greater than the required number, the on-chain confirmation is already complete.
Step 3: Use the TxID to verify the real on-chain status on a block explorer
It is normal for the OKX deposit progress page to have a delay of a few minutes. If you want to be sure, you can check the raw data directly on-chain.
Copy the TxID (blockchain transaction ID) from your deposit record and paste it into the corresponding block explorer. For BTC, you can use blockchain.com. For ETH/ERC20, use etherscan.io. For TRC20, use tronscan.org. If the explorer shows the transaction status as "Success" or "Completed", and the number of confirmations is equal to or greater than OKX's minimum requirement, then the on-chain transaction has already succeeded.

How to handle two abnormal situations
Case A: On-chain status shows "Success", but OKX has not credited your account yet
The confirmations have already reached the required number, but the platform crediting has a short delay. It usually arrives within a few minutes. If there is still no change after more than 2 hours, contact OKX customer support and provide your TxID.
Case B: On-chain status shows "Pending" or the confirmations are not enough
This is the most common "Confirming" state. Just wait patiently and do not submit the transfer again. When the public chain network is congested, confirmation speed will be noticeably slower.
Risk reminder: If the on-chain status shows "Fail", or the transaction is never confirmed and eventually gets dropped, then the transaction has completely failed. The asset will not enter OKX. It will remain in your original wallet or platform. You need to initiate the deposit again. Do not blindly wait for OKX to credit it.
How to verify after the operation is complete: When the status in your deposit record changes from "Confirming" to "Credited" or "Completed", go to [Assets] overview and confirm that the balance has been updated. If the required confirmations have been reached but nothing changes after more than 2 hours, contact OKX online customer support with the TxID for manual assistance.
