Individuals cannot apply for Binance Wealth. This service is for corporate wealth managers with a registered entity, not individual investors. Binance Academy clearly states that as of June 2026, applications from individual users are not accepted. What Binance Wealth Actually Is
Binance Wealth is a set of technical tools that Binance provides to wealth managers, allowing them to onboard high-net-worth clients onto the Binance platform for crypto asset investment. Wealth managers are responsible for helping clients open accounts and providing investment advice, but every investment decision ultimately requires the client's own approval.
In the words of Catherine Chen, Head of Binance VIP and Institutional, Binance Wealth is "not a financial advisory service, but a technical solution." It provides wealth managers with infrastructure to oversee and support their clients' crypto investments on Binance, but Binance itself does not provide investment advice.
The Relationship Between Wealth Manager and Client Accounts
Understanding the difference between these two roles is key to understanding how Binance Wealth works.
Wealth managers are the direct users of Binance Wealth. They need to pass KYB (Know Your Business) verification to prove that their business entity is qualified to provide wealth advisory or investment services. Once approved, they gain access to tools and permissions for managing client accounts, not an investment account of their own.
Client accounts are sub-accounts that wealth managers create separately for each client. Each client's assets are stored in their own assigned sub-account, and the client retains full control over their assets. Wealth managers can view accounts, provide advice, and assist with operations, but they cannot bypass client approval to directly move funds. Clients can choose to manage their portfolios independently or rely on the wealth manager's guidance, but all investment advice requires final confirmation from the client.
Binance officially emphasizes that client assets are stored in the corresponding wallets under the Binance platform account, and users can view them on the Proof of Reserves page.
Application Path: Only Wealth Managers Can Apply
If you represent a wealth management institution with a registered entity, the application process has three steps:
Register your interest: Submit an application through Binance's official contact form, or if you already know a Binance VIP representative, contact them directly.
Complete KYB verification: Binance will verify whether your business is legally registered and qualified to provide wealth advisory or investment services.
Start onboarding clients: After passing KYB, you can help high-net-worth clients who are eligible to use the Binance platform create sub-accounts.
It is important to note that Binance Wealth is available through the global platform and not available in the United States. According to a Binance spokesperson, the initial focus markets are Asia and Latin America.
Regarding fees, Binance Wealth does not charge any additional fees. Standard Binance trading fees apply. Users who qualify for the VIP program can receive corresponding fee discounts.

If You Are Not a Wealth Manager
You do not need Binance Wealth to do the same things on Binance. Binance Wealth is essentially a "management tool" layer that allows wealth managers to manage multiple client accounts in bulk. If you are just an individual investor, Binance's standard account already fully covers your needs.
If your situation is this: you are a wealth management institution with a registered entity and want to use Binance Wealth to serve your clients, then follow the process above to submit an application. If you have simply heard the name "Binance Wealth" and want to know whether you can use it — the answer is no, and you do not need it.
