Many users mistakenly think that the Funding Account and the Spot Account are separate independent accounts, or that they need to apply to open one. That is not true. As long as you have registered and completed verification, open the "Funds" page and look for the "Spot" tab. That is your core account entry, and it can hold funds directly. In Binance, "Funding Account" does not mean a separate wallet. It is a general term for all functional accounts, such as Spot, Earn, and Futures. In some specific situations, it refers to the Funding Account.

The "Funds" Page You See Is Already the Asset Entry
After registering, the [Funds] icon at the bottom of the app, called [Wallet] in some versions, is the entry to all your assets. Tap it and you will see several categories under it.
Among them, [Spot] is the default place where your assets are stored. It is also the main account used for deposits and withdrawals. The so-called "Funding Account" is actually the Spot Account, or just another name for it. Its main purpose is to hold funds, withdraw funds, and make P2P trades.
For example, if you deposit USDT from an external blockchain to Binance, the system will put it into your Spot Account by default. If your assets end up in the "Earn Account" or somewhere else, it may be because you accidentally enabled the auto-earn feature before, and the system moved them there. You will need to transfer them back manually.
How to Check Where Your Funds Are
Goal: Open the asset overview page and confirm which account your balance is in.
Steps:
App: Tap the [Funds] icon at the bottom. At the top, you will see "Overview" and entries for each account, such as Spot, Earn, and Futures.
Check balance distribution: Tap [Spot] to see the balance available for trading, deposits, and withdrawals. If you find your funds are not in "Spot" but in "Earn" or "Futures", use the [Transfer] function to move them back to Spot when needed. Internal transfers are free and instant.
Completion standard: You can see your asset balance in the "Spot" account.
FAQ
Q: After registering, my assets are in a place called "Funding Account", but I cannot find the entry? A: Do not worry. The "Spot" account you see is exactly that. In Binance's account structure, "Spot" and "Funding" are often used together and refer to the same core account for deposits and withdrawals.
Q: Why do I have money in both Earn and Spot? A: Binance is designed so that each function has its own separate sub-account. For example, the Earn Account holds fixed-term products, the Futures Account holds margin, and the Mining Account holds assets you are using for mining. They are isolated from each other to control risk and make tracking easier.

Next Step
Open the Binance app now, tap the [Funds] icon at the bottom, and take 10 seconds to look. If you see most of your assets under [Spot], then your account entry is completely normal, and you can deposit or trade directly.
