Don't rush to click "redeem" when you get a Binance coupon. First, check two things: what type of coupon it is and when it expires. Binance has many coupon types, each with completely different crediting methods and conditions. One wrong move and you might not be able to use it, or the funds might never reach your wallet.

Step 1: Find Your Coupon in the Reward Center and Check the Details
All coupons are in the same place. Log in to the Binance App or website, tap the profile icon in the top-right corner, then go to Reward Center or Rewards Hub – My Coupons to see all available vouchers.
What to do: Check the coupon's full details, not just the face amount. How to do it: Tap the "i" button at the bottom right of the coupon to see the complete description. Focus on three things:
Coupon type: Is it a Token Voucher, Trading Fee Rebate Voucher, Futures Bonus, or something else? (See Step 2 for the differences)
Applicable product: Can this coupon only be used for Spot, Futures, or Earn?
Expiration date: The coupon page clearly shows "Expiry Date: YYYY-MM-DD"
Completion check: You should know the exact name of the coupon, where it can be used, and when it expires – not just "how much it's worth".
Common mistake: Many people see "1 USDC" printed on the coupon and think it's a direct deposit. After clicking, they realize it's a buying fee discount voucher. This happens especially often in point redemption scenarios – USDC token vouchers and buying fee vouchers look alike but are completely different.
High Risk: Binance coupons have strict expiration rules. Once expired, they are permanently void and cannot be recovered or extended. Also, note that some vouchers have a limited window between issuance and when they can be claimed – they are not valid forever after you receive them.

Step 2: Confirm How the Coupon Is Credited and Activated Based on Its Type
Binance coupons mainly fall into these types. Match yours to the correct one:
| Coupon Type | How It's Credited | Key Restriction |
|---|---|---|
| Token Voucher | Credited directly to your Spot Wallet after redemption. Can be withdrawn or transferred anytime. | No additional conditions |
| Trading Fee Rebate Voucher | Returned to your Spot Wallet the day after trading. | Only refunds fees generated within the voucher's validity period |
| Futures Bonus | Acts only as futures margin; cannot be withdrawn. | You must open a Futures account first |
| Buying Fee Voucher | Offsets buying fees only. Does not create any spendable balance. | Only on the "Buy Crypto" page. Not valid for P2P. |
| VIP Upgrade Voucher | Raises your VIP level for a limited time. | Level reverts after the voucher expires |
Case A: The coupon is a "Token Voucher" After redeeming, your Spot Wallet balance increases directly. Confirm this by looking for the description: "will be credited to your Spot Wallet".
Case B: The coupon is a "Trading Fee Rebate Voucher" Redeeming it does not immediately give you usable funds. You need to trade normally in the product the voucher applies to (Spot, Futures, trading bots, etc.). The fees you pay will be returned to your Spot Wallet in USDT/USDC/BNB before 23:59:59 (UTC) the next day.
Case C: The coupon is a "Futures Bonus" You must first open a Futures account to activate it. After redemption, it serves only as futures margin and cannot be moved to your Spot Wallet or withdrawn.
How to verify: If you claimed a token voucher, check your Spot Wallet right away to see the increased balance. If it's a trading fee rebate voucher, look at your Spot Wallet deposit history the next day. For a futures bonus, go to your Futures Wallet and check if the margin increased.
