Binance identity information correction requires going through the complete "Reset Verification" process. After submitting the change request, your account will enter "Withdrawal Only" mode, and trading will be paused until the new info is manually approved.

Step 1: Go to Identity Verification Page, Find the Update Entry
Log in to Binance official website or app, enter the identity verification page, click "Update Identity" or "Reset KYC" entry.
Web path: Click the top right [Profile] → [Account] → [Identity Verification], find the [Update Identity] button and click.
App path: Click the top left icon on the homepage to enter profile, click [Verification] entry, then select [Update Identity].
Customer service shortcut: If your page does not show the update entry, you can also contact online support and send "How to update identity verification", the support will automatically reply with a "Click here to reset KYC" link.
If your name inaccuracy is due to system recognition errors, such as reversed order, missing spaces, or only needing to add a middle name, Binance has a "Personal Info Correction Appeal" page for these situations. You can select the corresponding reason, the path is shorter than a full KYC reset.
Step 2: Submit Name Correction Request and Wait for Review
After entering the update process, the system will pop up a statement asking you to confirm the update of identity info. You need to select the specific reason for name correction from the list, such as expired ID, name change, or system input error.
After selecting the reason, upload new ID photos as instructed, and complete the face recognition liveness verification as required. Note: uploaded document images must be clear and complete, and the name spelling must match exactly with your documents.
The system will first process your update request; after receiving email notification, you need to resubmit a complete KYC verification set. After submitting the application, the account enters "Withdrawal Only" mode until the new KYC is approved, then trading and withdrawals can resume.

Step 3: Confirm the Review Result
Within 1-2 business days after submission, Binance customer support will send the result notification via email after review. If approved, your name will be updated to the new information. If rejected due to unclear documents or information mismatch, supplement materials as instructed in the email and resubmit.
High risk warning: After modifying name or identity info, some functions may be temporarily restricted, and you can only change the name once a week. Binance strictly prohibits account transfer or using others' documents; name correction must be a change of your own real information. If you are changing your name due to marriage, or need to change your name to Latin letters matching your bank account, select the corresponding appeal reason; choosing the wrong reason will cause the appeal to fail.
Verification method after completion: Log in again, go to the identity verification page to check if the name has been updated. Also check if the account has exited "Withdrawal Only" mode, try a small trade or withdrawal to confirm functions are restored. If still no review result after 1-2 business days, contact in-app support with the update application number for inquiry.
