How to Deposit RLUSD to Binance? Address and Network Verification

The only correct network for depositing RLUSD on Binance is the XRP Ledger (XRP network). Binance has completed the integration of RLUSD on the XRP network and opened deposits. Before depositing, make sure to select the corresponding network in your wallet; choosing the wrong network may result in irretrievable funds. Currently, the RLUSD withdrawal function is not yet available and will be opened once Binance has sufficient liquidity. Deposited assets can only be used within Binance for the time being.

1. Complete Binance Account KYC

What to do: Ensure your Binance account has completed identity verification.

How to do:

  1. Log in to the Binance app or website, go to [Account Center] → [Identification].

  2. Follow the instructions to submit your identification documents and complete standard identity verification.

How to know it's done: The account shows "Verified" or "Standard Identity Verification" status.

Accounts that have not completed KYC cannot use the deposit function.

2. Get RLUSD Deposit Address on Binance

What to do: Log in to Binance, enter the deposit page, obtain the dedicated RLUSD deposit address and confirm that the network is XRP Ledger.

How to do:

  1. Log in to the Binance app or website, click [Wallet] → [Deposit] → [Deposit Crypto].

  2. Search for "RLUSD".

  3. Select network: You must select [XRP] or [XRP Ledger]. If the XRP network option does not appear on the page, it may not be available in your region yet; please refer to the actual display on the deposit page.

  4. The page will generate a deposit address; copy it.

How to know it's done: You have copied the RLUSD deposit address provided by Binance and confirmed that the selected network is XRP Ledger.

Prerequisite: Binance KYC identity verification must be completed.

If you see multiple network options on the deposit page, RLUSD currently deposits via the XRP network. Be sure to select XRP Ledger. RLUSD may also exist on the Ethereum network, but Binance has this time completed the XRP network integration.

3. Initiate Transfer from External Wallet

What to do: Send RLUSD from your external wallet (such as OKX Web3 Wallet, XRP-compatible wallet, etc.) to Binance.

How to do:

  1. Open your external wallet, find your RLUSD asset, and click [Send] or [Transfer].

  2. In the "recipient address" field, paste the RLUSD address you copied from Binance.

  3. Critical step: In the "select network" field, you must choose [XRP] or [XRP Ledger] — the same network you selected on Binance. Choosing the wrong network will result in funds not being credited.

  4. Confirm that there is enough XRP in the wallet to pay the gas fee (XRP network transactions require a small amount of XRP as a fee).

  5. Submit the transfer.

How to know it's done: The transaction has been submitted, the wallet shows "Transaction Broadcasted" or "Pending", and you have obtained the TxID.

Common reasons for failure:

  • Wrong network: You selected the XRP network on Binance but chose another network (e.g., Ethereum) in your wallet — different versions of RLUSD exist on different chains; selecting the wrong network will cause funds not to arrive.

  • Insufficient gas fee: Not enough XRP in the wallet to pay the XRP network fee.

  • Address format error: XRP address format is special; ensure the address is copied completely.

Risk notice:

  • Withdrawals not yet available: Binance has clearly stated that the RLUSD withdrawal function will be opened once liquidity is sufficient. This means that after depositing RLUSD, you can only use it for trading, earning, and other Binance internal functions for now, and cannot withdraw to an external wallet. Please wait for subsequent platform announcements.

  • Network mismatch = possible loss of funds: RLUSD deposits only via the XRP Ledger; this is the only path. Selecting the wrong network may result in asset loss.

4. Confirm Receipt

What to do: Wait for blockchain confirmations and check your Binance account balance.

How to do:

  1. Use the TxID to check the transaction status on an XRP block explorer (e.g., xrpscan.com). XRP network confirmation usually completes within seconds.

  2. Log in to Binance, go to [Wallet] → [Spot Account], and check if the RLUSD balance has increased.

How to know it's done: The RLUSD balance in your Binance spot account has been updated.

How to confirm you have performed the operation correctly?

Enter the TxID into an XRP block explorer and confirm the transaction status is "Success". Then log in to Binance and see that the RLUSD balance has increased on the [Assets] page. For first-time operations, it is recommended to send a small test amount (e.g., 1-5 RLUSD) first, and then transfer the remainder after it arrives.

If the deposit has not arrived for a long time, check whether the network selected during deposit fully matches the network used for the wallet transfer — the only correct network for RLUSD deposits is XRP Ledger. After the deposit arrives, note that since withdrawals are not yet available, you will need to wait for Binance's subsequent announcement to transfer RLUSD out. During this period, you may consider participating in Binance's RLUSD principal-protected earn products to earn yield.
