How to Track Missing XLM Deposits on Binance?
The most common reason an XLM deposit hasn't arrived is a missing or incorrectly filled Memo tag. XLM is one of the cryptocurrencies where Binance requires a Memo. The Memo is the sole identifier used to attribute funds to your account. If it's filled in incorrectly or omitted entirely, the funds cannot be automatically credited. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Check the Transaction Status on a Block Explorer
Objective: Use the transaction ID (TxID) you saved to confirm on a Stellar block explorer whether the transfer has been successfully confirmed on-chain.
Steps:
Open an official Stellar block explorer, such as Stellar Expert, and paste the TxID into the search bar.
Check the transaction status and number of confirmations. Only transactions with an on-chain status of "Success" can be processed by Binance for crediting or recovery. If the status shows "Unconfirmed" or "Failed," the issue lies with the sending side—contact the sending platform directly for assistance.
Completion criteria: Confirm that the transaction's on-chain status is Success.
Prerequisite: You must have access to the TxID of this transfer.
If the on-chain status shows Success but the funds still haven't appeared in your Binance account, the issue is most likely Memo-related. Proceed to the next step for further troubleshooting.
Verify Whether the Memo Was Filled In Correctly
Objective: Confirm whether the Memo was fully entered when initiating the transfer and that the information matches the Memo assigned to you by Binance exactly.
Steps:
Log in to Binance and go to the [Deposit] → [Deposit Crypto] page, then search for "XLM."
On the XLM deposit page, you will see two key pieces of information: your unique deposit address and the corresponding Memo. Binance assigns users a shared unified XLM address and relies on different Memos to distinguish ownership of funds.
Go back to the sending platform (wallet or other exchange) and check the Memo entered in the withdrawal record:
Not filled in or incorrectly filled: This is the most common reason for XLM deposits not arriving. On some platforms, the Memo field is optional when withdrawing XLM, making it easy to overlook.
Confirmed correctly filled but still not credited: Skip ahead to the subsequent steps for further troubleshooting.
Verify that every digit or letter of the Memo matches exactly. Even a single incorrect character will prevent automatic crediting.
Completion criteria: Confirm whether the Memo was entered accurately.
Common causes of errors:
The Memo was completely forgotten and the transfer was initiated without it.
The Memo was filled in with a tag for a different cryptocurrency or an unrelated reference number.
One or more digits or letters in the Memo were entered incorrectly.
Confirm the Minimum Deposit Amount and Network Status
Objective: Rule out other non-Memo-related causes such as an insufficient deposit amount or ongoing maintenance on the Binance XLM network.
Steps:
Check the "Minimum deposit amount" noted on the Binance XLM deposit page. If the amount of XLM transferred is below this threshold, the funds will not be automatically credited.
Check for any notice about XLM network maintenance displayed at the top of the Binance page. If the network is undergoing an upgrade, deposit services will be temporarily suspended. Funds will be automatically credited once maintenance is complete.
Completion criteria: Confirm that the deposit amount meets the minimum threshold and that the XLM network is operating normally.

Transaction Confirmed On-Chain But Not Credited After More Than 1 Hour: Initiate Self-Service Recovery
Objective: If the on-chain transaction is confirmed, the Memo has been verified as correct, but the funds still haven't arrived after more than 1 hour, go to the Binance self-service portal to submit a recovery request.
Steps:
Log in to your Binance account and navigate to the "Deposit Not Credited" self-service recovery page.
Paste the TxID and click submit. If the system can identify the transaction, it will automatically populate the coin and amount fields. If identification fails, you can manually fill in the corresponding details.
Clearly indicate that the transaction is an XLM deposit, explain whether the Memo was incorrect or missing, and submit the manual processing request.
After submission, you can track the progress of your ticket in the [Application Records] section.
Completion criteria: Successfully submit the request and obtain the corresponding application record number.
Important reminder: Successfully recovered funds will be returned to the originating sending address. They will not be directly credited to your Binance account. If the return address belongs to another platform, you will need to check with that platform for receipt of the funds.
The processing time for Memo-related fund recovery typically takes 7 working days or more. Regularly check the [Application Records] page for status updates. Ultimately, the funds will either be returned to the sending address or credited normally to your Binance account.
