NEAR Deposit Not Credited on Binance? How to Check and Fix

If your NEAR transfer to Binance hasn't arrived, follow these steps: first verify the transaction status on a NEAR blockchain explorer, then check whether the deposit time coincides with network maintenance and whether the correct network was used. If the on-chain status shows success but the deposit hasn't been credited, you can use Binance's self-service recovery process.

1. Check Transaction Status on a NEAR Blockchain Explorer

What to do: Use the transaction ID (TxID) to check whether the transfer has been confirmed on a NEAR blockchain explorer.

How to do it:

  1. Copy your TxID – find it in the withdrawal history of the wallet or exchange you sent the funds from.
  2. Open a NEAR blockchain explorer (e.g. nearblocks.io or pikespeak.ai) and paste the TxID into the search bar.
  3. Check the transaction status:
    • Status is "Success": confirmed on-chain, proceed to the next step.
    • Status is "Unconfirmed" or "Failed": the issue lies with the sender; contact the platform from which you made the transfer.

What indicates completion: You have confirmed that the transaction status on the NEAR chain is "Success".

A NEAR explorer also shows the Gas fee burned, the block height and the account balance changes, making it the most direct tool to confirm where your funds went.

2. Check If the Deposit Was Made During a NEAR Network Maintenance Window

What to do: Make sure your deposit didn't fall within a scheduled NEAR network upgrade or maintenance period.

How to do it:

  1. Binance suspended deposits and withdrawals for the NEAR Protocol network at 2026-06-10 07:00 (UTC+8) to support a network upgrade and hard fork.
  2. NEAR deposited during the maintenance window will not be credited automatically; you'll need to wait until the network is stable and Binance reopens deposits and withdrawals.
  3. If you transferred during this period, wait for Binance to announce the resumption of services and then check your balance again. No further announcement will be made after services reopen.

What indicates completion: You have verified that your deposit time falls outside the network maintenance window.

During the network upgrade, NEAR transactions themselves are unaffected, but deposit and withdrawal functions are paused.

3. Verify You Used the Correct Network for the Deposit

What to do: Confirm that the network you selected when sending matches a network supported by Binance.

How to do it:

  • Binance currently supports NEAR deposits via NEAR Mainnet and BNB Chain (BEP20), but does not support NEAR deposits via the Ethereum (ERC20) network.
  • If your wallet holds native NEAR tokens, choose the NEAR Mainnet network.
  • If you are transferring an ERC20 wrapped version of NEAR (e.g. wNEAR), Binance may not accept it.

What indicates completion: You have confirmed that the network you selected matches one of the supported networks shown on the Binance deposit page.

Common reasons for failure:

  • Wrong network selected: Sending over the Ethereum ERC20 network to a Binance NEAR address – Binance has stated officially that tokens sent to an incorrect network address cannot be recovered.
  • Wrapped token sent: Some cross-chain bridged tokens are not supported by Binance, and community reports indicate such cases are usually irretrievable.

Risk reminder:

  • Network mismatch may result in permanent loss of funds: Binance cannot assist in recovering tokens sent to addresses on unsupported networks.
  • Scams impersonating NEAR customer support: If someone asks you to pay a fee to "recover your funds", verify whether they are genuine Binance support staff. Binance support will never ask for upfront fees.

4. Submit a Self-Service Recovery Application

What to do: If the on-chain status is "Success", the network is correct, the deposit was not made during a maintenance window, but your funds have not arrived after more than one hour, submit a self-service recovery application on Binance.

How to do it:

  1. Log into your Binance account, go to 【Wallet】 → 【Transaction History】, and check the status of that deposit record.
  2. Visit Binance's "Deposit Not Credited" self-service recovery page.
  3. Paste your TxID and submit. If the system recognises the transaction, the coin and amount will be filled in automatically; otherwise enter them manually.
  4. After submission, track the ticket status under 【Application Records】.

What indicates completion: You have successfully submitted the application and received an application record number.

Prerequisite: The on-chain transaction status must be "Success".

How to know you've handled it properly?

Confirm on a NEAR blockchain explorer that the transaction status is "Success". If the deposit was made after 2026-06-10 07:00 (UTC+8) and the correct network was used, the funds should normally arrive within a few minutes to several tens of minutes. If they haven't arrived after more than one hour, submit the self-service recovery application and monitor its status in 【Application Records】. For first-time transfers, it's recommended to test with a small amount first, and only send the remainder after the test deposit has been credited.
