How to Check If Binance Cash Deposit Function Is Available

Binance does not offer a direct cash deposit function for inserting banknotes or coins. The "Buy Crypto with Cash" or "Fiat Deposit" options users see actually involve purchasing cryptocurrency using credit cards, bank transfers, or P2P trading. The only way to determine whether such features are available is to log in to Binance and visit the deposit page. The system automatically displays the available deposit methods based on your region. This list is updated dynamically, so relying on rumors or unofficial information is not recommended.

Log in to Binance and Go to the Deposit Page

Goal: Log into your account and find the deposit entry.

Steps:

  1. Log in to the Binance app or website.
  2. On the app: Tap [Wallet] on the bottom menu → [Deposit]. On the website: Click [Wallet] on the top right → [Wallet Overview] → [Deposit].
  3. On the deposit method selection page, all options available to you will be listed.

Completion criteria: Successfully open the list of available deposit methods.

View Available Fiat Deposit Options

Goal: Browse the deposit methods displayed by the system to see if there are any cash or fiat-related options.

Currently, Binance supports the following fiat-related deposit methods:

Method A: Buy cryptocurrency via credit/debit card

  • Choose [Buy Crypto] or [Buy Cryptocurrency], add your card details, and purchase with the card.
  • This is the most common path described as "buying crypto with cash". It actually uses your card balance, not a deposit of physical cash.

Method B: Bank transfer (fiat deposit)

  • Select [Bank Deposit] or [Deposit via Bank], and the system will show available fiat currencies (e.g., EUR, USD).
  • Use the bank details provided by Binance to complete the transfer. The name on your bank account must match the name on your Binance KYC exactly.

Method C: P2P trading

  • Select [P2P Trading] to buy cryptocurrency through various methods such as bank transfer, Alipay, WeChat Pay, etc.

Method D: Deposit USD via BPay Global

  • Now available in over 70 countries. You can deposit USD via SWIFT transfer (0 fees), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other methods.

Completion criteria: See all deposit methods currently available in your region.

If the "Deposit", "Buy Crypto", "P2P" options on the page are greyed out or unclickable, it may mean that fiat-related services are not available in your region, or your account KYC is incomplete. In that case, you can only use cryptocurrency deposits, meaning transferring assets from an external wallet.

Two Ways to Confirm Availability

Goal: Determine whether a specific function is available in your region.

Methods:

Method 1: Check directly in the App

  1. On the deposit page, click the method you want (e.g., "Buy Crypto", "Bank Deposit").
  2. The system will automatically determine whether that function is available in your region.
  3. If not supported, a message like "This service is not available in your region" will appear, or the option will simply not be shown.

Method 2: Check Binance's official support list

  • Visit the Binance Help Center's FAQ on "Fiat Deposit" to see supported currencies and countries.
  • Currently explicitly supported fiat deposits include: EUR (SEPA transfer), USD (BPay Global, 70+ countries), PLN (BLIK, for Polish and Ukrainian users), etc.

Completion criteria: Confirm whether the function is shown as available (has an entry and is operational) or unavailable (no entry or displays a region restriction notice).

Common reasons for failure:

  • KYC not completed: Users who have not completed identity verification cannot use any fiat deposit functions and can only receive cryptocurrency.
  • Region restrictions: Even if a feature appears in the app, the actual submission may be blocked due to IP address or registered region. For example, BLIK is only available to residents of Poland and Ukraine.

Risk reminders:

  • Same-name account requirement: For bank transfer deposits, your bank account name must be identical to the name used in your Binance KYC, otherwise the deposit will be rejected or delayed.
  • Third-party payment fees: Using credit cards or third-party payment services may incur additional fees. The exact fee will be displayed before submission; confirm before proceeding.
  • Regional policy changes: Binance's fiat services are frequently adjusted based on regulatory policies in different countries. A currently available method may be suspended later. The most reliable approach is to log into your account in real time before each operation to check.

How to verify that you are checking correctly: Open the Binance app, go to [Wallet] → [Deposit], and view the current page. If options like "Buy Crypto", "P2P", and "Bank Deposit" are all displayed and can be clicked to proceed to the next step, it means these functions are available to you. If the page only shows "Deposit Crypto" and "Receive via Binance Pay" without any fiat-related entries, then fiat deposit services are not available in your region. If they are shown, simply follow the on-screen instructions.
