You can submit a country of residence change request directly through the identity verification module of your Binance account. The whole process is done inside the app—no need to contact offline support. Only accounts that have completed advanced KYC verification can do this.
1. Prepare the Required Supporting Documents in Advance
Get a proof of address document issued within the last 3 months. You can use a utility bill (water, electricity, gas), a bank statement, or a residence certificate from the local government.
The document must clearly show your full name, your new residential address in the new country, and the date it was issued. The photo you upload must not be altered, covered up, or mirrored.
2. Submit the Change Request in the App
After logging into your Binance account, go to the Profile Center – Identity Verification page. Find the country of residence change option and select your new country as prompted.

3. Review Outcome and Next Steps
After you submit, the system usually finishes the review within 1 to 3 business days (source: Binance Help Center, 2024-06).
Common reasons for failure: the proof of address was issued more than 3 months ago, or the address on the document does not match the new country address you filled in.
Risk notice: before you complete the country change, some derivatives and fiat trading services tied to your original region will be gradually restricted within 7 calendar days. Do not transfer large amounts of assets during this buffer period to avoid interruptions to your trading links.
Once approved, you will receive a notification in your Binance inbox and to your linked email. You can go back to the Identity Verification page to check whether the displayed country of residence matches the new address you submitted.
