Where to Check Binance and OKX Supported Regions? Restricted Entry Comparison

To transfer USDT from Binance to OKX with the lowest fees, use the TRC-20 or BEP-20 network, not ERC-20. The core rule is: the network you select when withdrawing from Binance must match exactly the network you choose on the OKX deposit page. If they don't match, your funds may be lost and very hard to recover.

Step 1: Get your deposit address and network on OKX

First set up the receiving side. Don't rush to Binance yet.

  • What to do: Log in to OKX, go to the USDT deposit page, generate a deposit address, and pick a network.

  • How to do it:

    1. In the OKX App, tap "Assets" → "Deposit", then select USDT.

    2. You will see a list of available networks (for example TRC-20, ERC-20, BEP-20).

    3. Choose the network first, then copy the address. Remember which chain you selected – you will need to choose the exact same one on Binance later.

Step 2: Withdraw from Binance using the same network

After you have selected the network on OKX, go back to Binance.

  • What to do: Withdraw USDT from Binance and make sure the network is identical to the one you chose on OKX.

  • How to do it:

    1. In the Binance app, go to "Wallet" → "Withdraw", then choose USDT.

    2. Paste the OKX deposit address and double-check it is correct.

    3. Most important step: Select the withdrawal network. TRC-20 is usually the cheapest and fastest choice for USDT transfers, with a fee of about 1 USD. ERC-20 fees can be several dollars or more. BEP-20 is also an economical option, but make sure OKX supports USDT deposits on that network.

Risk reminder: Choosing the wrong network is the most common reason for lost funds when transferring USDT. If you paste an ERC-20 address into a TRC-20 withdrawal channel, your funds will most likely be unrecoverable. OKX can only review such cases one by one, and recovery is not guaranteed.

Step 3: Check the minimum withdrawal amount and send a test transaction first

While saving on fees, avoid the pitfall of minimum limits.

  • What to do: Make sure your withdrawal amount is not below Binance's minimum, and send a small test transfer first.

  • How to do it:

    1. The Binance withdrawal page usually shows the minimum amount for that coin and network. You cannot withdraw less than that.

    2. No matter how large the total amount, the first time you transfer to a new address, send a tiny amount first (like 10 USDT). Confirm it arrives in your OKX account, then send the rest. This habit can save you from a costly mistake – a few cents in fees can protect a transfer worth thousands.

How to verify the transfer

After submitting the withdrawal on Binance, check the status under "Withdrawal History". If it shows "Completed", go to OKX's "Deposit History" to confirm the funds have arrived. Under normal conditions it takes 5-30 minutes, depending on network congestion.

Next steps

Once the USDT reaches OKX, it lands in your "Funding Account" by default. If you want to trade with it, you need to transfer it from "Funding Account" to "Spot Account" or "Futures Account". This internal transfer is free and instant. If you are moving a large amount, keep your Binance withdrawal record (including the TxID) and the OKX deposit record. Having on-chain proof is invaluable if you ever need to verify the transaction.
