Are you participating in a trading volume event, trading all day, then opening the leaderboard and seeing the number hasn't moved at all? Don't rush to blame the system. Your trading volume probably hasn't updated because you don't understand the time difference in the statistics.

Step 1: Check the statistical period first — it is based on UTC, not your local time
Event data is calculated based on UTC time, not your local time.
Check the event's statistical start and end time: open the event page and find "Event Period" or "Statistical Period", for example "2026-08-17 08:30 (UTC) to 2026-08-31 23:59 (UTC)". UTC is 8 hours behind Beijing time. When it is 4 PM Beijing time, it is only 8 AM UTC, and the day's period has just started.
Common reason for failure: Some people rush to trade on Monday morning Beijing time, but the event's UTC time has not reset yet, so their trading volume is counted at the tail end of the previous period.
Confirm the event's UTC statistical start and end time, and make sure you know which statistical window your current trades belong to. That completes this step.
Step 2: Check the leaderboard refresh frequency — data is not updated in real time
The leaderboard is not refreshed in real time. It has a fixed update interval.
Look for the "Leaderboard Update Frequency" note in the event rules: most spot trading event leaderboards update at least once every 24 hours. Some event rules may state a shorter update interval. You can also check the bottom of the event page for "Last Updated".
Case A (24-hour system): Trades you make today will only appear at the same time tomorrow.
Case B (hourly system): If the event rules state hourly updates but your data still doesn't show, move on to the next step.
Different events may have different update frequencies. The event rules page is the final authority.
Step 3: Check whether your trade type is excluded — not all orders count
Confirm whether your trades qualify as "valid trading volume". Compare them against the event rules and check for the following excluded items:
Zero-fee trading pairs: Some events may exclude trading pairs such as FDUSD, TUSD, and USDT.
Positions opened and closed instantly with zero realized PnL: Futures events explicitly exclude this type of trading volume.
Trading fees or gas fees: These are not counted in trading volume statistics.
Unfilled orders: Only completed buy/sell orders count. Pending orders that are not filled are not counted.
Confirm that your orders meet the event's definition of valid trading volume, and this step is complete.
Important warning: If you use sub-accounts or API trading, confirm whether they are counted in your main account's total trading volume. Most events allow sub-account and API trades to be counted, but rules vary by event. Sub-account trading volume is usually combined into the main account.

Next steps
Now open the event page and look for "Last Updated" or a similar label. If it was updated before today, wait until the next refresh time and check again. Also confirm that your order's trading pair is not on the exclusion list. If you have checked all of the above and the data is still abnormal, go to the help section on the event page and contact customer service. Include your UID and the IDs of your most recent trades.
