Simple answer: If you want to withdraw from Binance to a bank card, you must first sell your crypto for fiat currency. Binance does not have a direct "coin to card" channel. Bank cards only accept legal tender (such as CNY, USD, EUR), not USDT or Bitcoin. So the process is always: Crypto → Sell for fiat → Fiat to bank card. The most common way to "sell" is through P2P trading (also called C2C), and in a few regions, you can sell directly to your card.
Step 1: Check which wallet your assets are in
Before withdrawal, first find out where your crypto is held. Binance accounts are divided into "Spot Wallet," "Funding Wallet," "Earn Wallet," etc. P2P trading can only use crypto from your Funding Wallet.
What to do: Check where your USDT or other coins are stored.
How to do it: Go to "Wallet" → "Overview" and check balances in each wallet.
Done when: Make sure the crypto you want to sell is in your Funding Wallet. If it's not, click "Transfer" and move it from your Spot Wallet to your Funding Wallet (internal transfers are free and instant).
Common mistake: Many people try to sell from their Spot Wallet and get a "balance insufficient" error or can't find the sell option. P2P trading must use the Funding Wallet.
Step 2: Sell crypto for CNY through P2P
This is currently the most common and practical way for users in China to cash out.
What to do: Go to the P2P market, post a sell order for USDT, and the buyer sends you CNY via Alipay, WeChat, or bank transfer.
How to do it:
Open the Binance app, tap "Buy Crypto" → switch to the "P2P" or "C2C" tab.
At the top, select "Sell", pick USDT as the coin, and CNY as the fiat currency.
The system shows a list of buyers. Filter tips: Prioritize merchants with high trade counts (e.g., over 5,000 trades), completion rate above 99%, and badges like "Shield Merchant" or "Gold Merchant." These merchants have deposits, and the coverage limit can reach 2,000 USDT.
Enter the amount and confirm the order. Your USDT will be locked by the platform.
Wait for the buyer to pay, and double-check that your bank card, Alipay, or WeChat has actually received the money.
Once you confirm the money has arrived, click "Payment Received" → "Release USDT". The coins are then transferred to the buyer.
Done when: The order status shows "Completed" and your bank account has received the corresponding CNY.
Risk warning: The biggest risk of P2P cash-out is having your bank card frozen. You cannot control the source of the buyer's funds. If the buyer's account is linked to fraud or money laundering, your card may be frozen as well, and it can take months to unfreeze. How to reduce risk: Avoid trading with new accounts that have zero history; keep single transactions under 50,000 CNY; wherever possible, use a major bank's primary card and avoid small local banks.
Step 3: Special cases — selling directly to card (non-China regions)
Users in some regions (such as Europe and the Middle East) can sell crypto directly to a bank card without going through P2P manual matching.
Case A: Binance official "Sell" feature (selected regions). On the app homepage under "Buy Crypto," switch to "Sell". Choose the coin and fiat currency, select "Card" as the payment method, link your bank card, and submit the order. The platform processes it automatically. However, this feature does not support CNY and has requirements for the card issuing bank.
Case B: Bank transfer fiat withdrawal (institutional or overseas individual users). Supports USD, EUR, etc., via SWIFT wire transfer to your bank account. Processing takes 1–5 business days. Fees and limits are shown on the platform in real time. This option also does not support CNY.
How to verify: Check that your bank balance has actually increased. Do not rely only on the order status in the Binance app; open your bank app and confirm the money is in your account.
Next step: Once the money is in your bank account, it's wise to keep a full screenshot of the P2P order (including order number, counterparty nickname, amount, and time) and your bank statement. This serves as proof if the bank or police ask about the transaction. If the money hasn't arrived after 30 minutes, contact the buyer through the in-app chat. If there's no response, click "Appeal" on the order page and let Binance customer support step in.
