If your Auto-Invest order did not go through, it is rarely a system error. Most likely you did not meet the idle asset requirements. Do not wait unnecessarily, follow this step-by-step troubleshooting guide, the fix is much simpler than you think.

Step 1: Check Purchase Status and Product Availability

Go to the [Earn] - [Auto-Invest] page first to view the specific prompt. If it shows "Quota Full", you cannot join this product right now — these limited subscription products have a capped number of slots. Quota is usually released after other users redeem their funds, so you can refresh the page after a while to check again.

If there is enough remaining quota, confirm that your account meets the minimum asset threshold. Some promotional products have hidden requirements for holding amount or holding period. If you do not meet these rules, the system will not deduct funds automatically, and your order status will stay as "Pending".

Step 2: Verify the Definition Range of "Idle Assets"

The core rule of Auto-Invest is that it only uses assets that are sitting unused in your spot wallet. But there are several cases where the platform will not count your funds as idle assets:

  • Assets in open orders: If you have open limit orders or conditional orders on spot trading pairs, this part of the funds is frozen, and the system will not transfer it for subscription.

  • Margin account balance: Funds stored in your margin account are not automatically counted as part of your spot wallet balance, you need to manually transfer them back to the spot account.

  • Earn account assets: Assets locked in Binance Locked Earn or Flexible Earn products are not counted as idle assets in your spot wallet.

Go back to your [Spot] account first, confirm that the "Available Balance" of the target subscription cryptocurrency is indeed higher than the reserved amount you set.

Step 3: Check Your Reserved Amount Setting

Auto-Invest comes with a "Reserved Balance" feature, which means you can set aside a certain amount of funds to stay in your spot wallet, and only the amount exceeding this number will be automatically subscribed. If the auto-purchase did not trigger, it is possible that you set this value higher than your total spot balance, so the system found no idle funds available for transfer.

Go to the Auto-Invest settings page, adjust the reserved amount to a reasonable value lower than your spot wallet balance. For example, if you have 1000 USDT in your spot wallet, set the reserved amount to 100 USDT, then the remaining 900 USDT can be processed by the system.

Step 4: Confirm Your Crypto is On the Supported List

Not all cryptocurrencies are eligible for Auto-Invest. If you try to set up auto-purchase for a newly launched token that has not been added to the Auto-Invest supported list, the subscription will not trigger at all.

Check the "Supported Crypto List" or "Eligible Asset Range" section on the product details page to confirm that your target cryptocurrency is included.

Step 5: Check System Status and Purchase Frequency

If you have confirmed all the above steps, finally check the system side rules: Auto-Invest purchases are usually executed within specific time windows (such as hourly or daily polling). If it is outside the execution window, even if you meet all requirements, your order may be queued. In addition, if you have already completed one successful Auto-Invest purchase on the same day, the system will not process duplicate purchases for the same day.

Post-troubleshooting verification: After you finish the 5 steps above, re-enter the Auto-Invest page, check the "Current Holdings" or "Subscription History" section. If you see new holdings marked as "Active", that means your idle asset requirements are now met, and the Auto-Invest feature is working normally.
