If you simply "cloned" the app data completely to your new phone, then the verification codes on both the old and new phones will remain valid at the same time. But if you manually reinstalled or re-linked the app, the codes on the old phone will stop working immediately.
The key difference lies in the "seed" (Secret Key).
Cases where it keeps working (seamless migration)
When you use your phone's built-in transfer tool (such as full device restore when moving from iPhone to iPhone, or "Phone Clone" on Android), the Google Authenticator data is copied over completely as system data. During this process, the bound "seed" does not change; you simply have one more device. So the old phone and the new phone run the same algorithm and generate the same verification codes, and both can be used at the same time.

Cases where it stops working (manual re-linking)
If you download the app separately on your new phone and then enter the key or scan the QR code to re-link it, this action is equivalent to creating a new binding relationship. Once the new binding is completed, Binance servers usually treat the old device's binding as replaced, and the verification codes generated on the old phone will no longer match the server records, so they will show as "invalid" or "incorrect".
No matter which method you use, there is one step you must never skip: always write down the original backup key or QR code. If the system freezes or data is lost during the phone transfer, as long as you have this seed, you can manually restore the account's verification function on a new device at any time.
