After you submit your KYC, if the review status stays as 'Processing', it's often not a platform glitch — your documents may have entered the manual review queue or the system may have triggered a Request for Information (RFI). You can check your current progress by the status shown in the app, then decide whether to keep waiting or proactively submit more documents.

Binance's KYC review involves both automated checks and manual review. Normally, verification is completed within a few minutes to 48 hours. If it takes longer, the following situations may apply.
Step 1: Check Your Actual Review Status
Look at the specific status text in the app to see whether you are in a normal queue or need to take action. Open the Binance app, tap the profile icon in the top-left corner of the home screen, go to "Account Center," and find "Identity Verification".
Shows "Under Review": Your documents have been submitted and are waiting to be processed by the system or manual review. If it's been less than 48 hours since submission, this is normal.
Shows "Action Required" or "Failed": The system detected an issue with your documents, and you need to upload them again. The reason for failure (e.g., blurry photo, information mismatch) is usually shown on the page.
Shows "Unverified" and no submission option: If you submitted before but the status has returned to unverified, it may mean the review did not pass, or the system requires you to restart the application.
Risk Warning: During the review, especially when you receive a Request for Information (RFI), beware of phishing scams. When Binance officially asks for additional documents, you will see a pop-up or banner notification after logging into the app, and you may receive an email or SMS with an anti-phishing code. Never click external links claiming to be from Binance to submit documents; perform all actions inside the official app. If you're unsure, verify directly through the "Help Center" or "Contact Support" in the app.
Step 2: Check If a Request for Information (RFI) Has Been Triggered
Determine whether your account has triggered an additional information collection process due to risk control. Log in to the Binance app or website and see if there is a pop-up or banner asking you to complete a "Request for Information (RFI)." If so, follow the instructions to upload the required files. Completion criteria: Make sure there are no pending RFI tasks on your account.
Case A: Review has been pending for more than 48 hours and your account appears normal. You need to contact customer support to check the progress. The recommended method is to tap the "Support" icon (bottom right) in the app, explain the situation, and provide your registered email and user ID.
Case B: Status shows "Failed" or "Action Required". Correct the issue based on the specific reason shown and resubmit. If the reason is unclear or you have failed multiple times, contact customer support.
Common Reasons for Failure
The most overlooked issues are repeatedly submitting the same document or triggering the KYC process multiple times on one account, which can be flagged as unusual behavior. In addition, if the ID photo is blurry, has glare, information is covered, or the facial recognition fails, the review time will be extended.

Next Steps
If your status is "Under Review" and it has been more than 3-5 business days since you submitted, we suggest submitting a ticket through the official customer support portal in the Binance app. The online support team can check the backend review queue and help speed up the process. Before contacting support, make sure your account isn't flagged as "Not Eligible for Rewards" — this is often due to violating the terms of use (such as using a VPN or incomplete KYC) and you'll need to complete verification or submit an appeal first.
