What Do Corporate Employees Need to Prepare for Binance Registration?
For company or corporate employees registering onBinanceas individuals, the required materials are the same as for personal account opening: a valid email/phone number, an ID document, and a device with a camera. However, if your company has compliance requirements or your goal is to open a corporate account, you will need additional documents such as company registration papers, proof of address, and identification for directors/ultimate beneficial owners.

Personal registration and corporate account registration are two completely separate processes with different entry points. They are explained separately below.
1. Registering as an Individual (For Personal Use)
If you are trading personally and not on behalf of a company, prepare the following before opening an account:
Email or phone number: It is recommended to use an overseas email like Outlook or Gmail for more reliable verification code delivery; +86 mobile numbers can currently receive verification codes normally.
Valid ID document: National ID card or passport, with front and back photos uploaded during verification.
Device with a camera: Required for KYC facial recognition.
The registration entry is directly on the official website or app—click [Register], select "Individual Account," fill in the details, complete KYC, and you can start trading. During registration, distinguish between "Individual Account" and "Corporate Account"; if you choose incorrectly, you cannot convert later and must re-register.
If you work in mainland China and your company has policies prohibiting employees from engaging in cryptocurrency trading, it is advisable to first confirm your company's policy. Some financial institutions or state-owned enterprises may have internal compliance requirements unrelated to Binance registration itself, but they involve personal professional compliance.
2. Registering as a Company/Corporate Entity (For Company Use)
If registration is for company business and you are opening a corporate account, you will need significantly more documents than for a personal account:
Basic materials and information:
Company legal name, country/region of registration, registration number or tax ID
Certificate of Incorporation
Company structure document (including shareholder ownership percentages)
Memorandum and Articles of Association or operating agreement
Proof of address (within the last 6 months):
Utility bills (water, electricity, gas), bank statements, internet service bills (mobile phone bills are not accepted)
Official government correspondence or tax documents
The company name and address on the documents must match the registration information
Company representative/Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) materials:
ID document (passport or national ID card)
Proof of address (bank statement or utility bill, within 90 days)
Sometimes an ultimate beneficial owner declaration form is required
Corporate account process:Currently available information indicates that for a corporate account, you need to select the "Corporate Account" registration entry on the official website, submit the materials, and undergo manual review, which typically takes2–5 business days. Some channels mention that you may need to register a personal account first and then apply to convert to a corporate account, or submit through the wealth management page—this may vary by region and account type. For specific entry points, refer to the current options on the official website. If there is no corporate registration entry on the page, it is recommended to contact Binance official customer support directly for confirmation.

3. Essential Security Settings After Registration
Regardless of the registration method, immediately after completing KYC:
Bind Google Authenticator (more secure than SMS verification)
Set up a fund password or withdrawal whitelist
Check the device login list
When registering as an employee, do I need to fill in company information in the "Occupation/Industry" field? No, you do not need to fill in company information when registering a personal account—only personal identification details. KYC verifies your identity, not your employer. If the registration page asks you to select an "Occupation," choose truthfully; it does not affect the account type.
What if I register a personal account with my company email and later leave the company? It is recommended to bind a personal email to your personal account, not a work email. If you have already bound a company email and it is reclaimed after you leave, you will be unable to receive verification codes, making subsequent security changes very troublesome.
