OKX to Binance Transfer Not Credited? How to Check Records on Both Ends

If your transfer from OKX to Binance hasn't arrived, the key is to cross-check the transaction hash (TxID) on both platforms and on-chain. First check OKX withdrawal status, then use the TxID on a blockchain explorer, and finally check Binance deposit history – if it says "info mismatch", the Tag/Memo is often wrong, which requires manual customer service.

Step 1: Check OKX Withdrawal Status – Confirm the Transaction Has Been Sent

First, make sure the funds have actually been deducted from your OKX account.

  • What to do: Log in to your OKX account and find this withdrawal record.

  • How to do it:

    • In the app, go to AssetsHistoryWithdraw and find the order.

    • Check the Status column. If it shows "Completed" or "Success", OKX has broadcast the transaction on-chain. Copy the TxID (transaction hash).

    • If the status is "Processing", the transaction hasn't been sent yet – just wait.

  • Completion standard: Get the TxID and confirm OKX shows "Completed".

Step 2: Check the Blockchain Explorer with the TxID – Confirm On-Chain Confirmation

The TxID is the unique proof on the blockchain. No matter what the platform shows, the on-chain status is what counts.

  • What to do: Open the appropriate blockchain explorer based on the transfer network and paste the TxID.

  • How to do it:

    • For TRC-20 use Tronscan, for ERC-20 use Etherscan, for BEP-20 use BSCScan.

    • Check that the Status shows "Success" and the number of confirmations meets the target chain's requirement (usually a few dozen).

    • Verify the receiving address – the address shown in the explorer must exactly match the deposit address you generated on Binance.

  • Completion standard: On-chain status shows "Success" and confirmations are sufficient.

Step 3: Check Binance Deposit History – Confirm Whether the Funds Have Been Credited

Once the blockchain confirms the transaction, go to Binance to see if the money has arrived.

  • What to do: Log in to your Binance account and view your deposit history.

  • How to do it:

    • In the app, go to WalletHistoryDeposit, filter by time and coin.

    • Scenario A: A record is found – if the status is "Confirming", wait for confirmations; if "Completed", the funds have arrived.

    • Scenario B: No record is found – Binance has not recognized this deposit. The most common reason is an incorrect Tag/Memo. Some coins (like XRP, XLM, TON) require a Tag or Memo when transferring. If it's wrong or missing, the funds go to Binance's main wallet but cannot be allocated to your account.

  • Completion standard: Confirm whether a Binance deposit record exists and note any specific error message.

Common Failure Reasons

If the on-chain transaction shows success but you can't find a record on Binance, and after submitting an appeal you're told "info mismatch" – this means the Tag/Memo was wrong. In this case, self-service appeals cannot pass. Binance customer service needs to manually check the TxID and your account information to credit the funds, usually taking 3-7 business days.

If your TxID shows confirmations in the explorer, your funds are safe; Binance simply hasn't allocated them to your account. The responsibility lies with the person who initiated the transfer but filled in the wrong Tag. Binance will help recover the funds, but a fee or verification cost may apply. Also, if you can't find the order in OKX withdrawal history but your bank card was charged, it might be an internal delay on OKX's side – contact OKX support.

How to Verify the Operation is Completed

Open a blockchain explorer and confirm the TxID status is "Success" with enough confirmations. Then open Binance Deposit History. If the status changes to "Completed", the funds have arrived. If no record is found but the explorer shows success, save a screenshot of the TxID and get ready for the Binance customer support appeal process.

Next Steps

If you can't find a record and it's confirmed to be a Tag/Memo issue, when submitting a ticket to Binance customer support, attach the TxID, transfer amount, coin, and transfer time. Clearly state "Tag/Memo incorrect, manual credit needed". The processing time is usually 3-7 business days. Do not submit multiple tickets during this period, or the ticket priority will be reset.
