Finding customer support on OKX and Binance starts in the app or website help center, but the appeal process and response mechanisms differ. OKX's live chat is more upfront, great for real-time help. Binance's ticket system is more structured—you need to choose a specific issue category from the order page or help center to start.

Locating the Support Entrances on Both Platforms
The entry points are different but easy to find.
OKX: In the app, tap the profile icon (top-left) → [Help Center] → [Live Chat] at the bottom. On the web, click the chat icon in the lower-right corner to reach live support. If you run into issues with your OKX Web3 wallet, typing "stolen" in the live chat will directly connect you to a dedicated anti-scam agent.
Binance: On the web, the "Live Chat" icon sits in the bottom-right corner. In the app, go to [Help & Support]. The smart chatbot will greet you first; type "human agent" to reach a real person.
Completion standard: You've entered the help center and know whether to use live chat or submit a ticket.
Matching Your Issue to the Right Support Path
Using the right channel for different problems makes a huge difference.
Deposits/Withdrawals Not Arriving:
OKX: Go to [Assets] → [History], find that transaction, and submit a tracking ticket (Crypto Recovery). You'll need the TxID, asset type, amount, and screenshots. Processing usually takes 2–7 business days.
Binance: Go to [Orders] → [Fiat Orders], locate the order, and tap [Appeal] on the right to start. Or from the help center, select [Deposit Not Credited] / [Fiat Withdrawal Not Arrived] and submit.
Account Hacked or Security Incident:
OKX: Open live chat and type "stolen"; the system will automatically transfer you to an anti-scam specialist.
Binance: Submit a [Non-C2C Risk Report] through the help center or use the emergency appeal channel on the official website.
Forgot to Fill in Tag/Memo – This can't be fixed by yourself. Both platforms require you to submit a recovery request via ticket or live chat, along with the TxID and transfer screenshot.
Tracking Your Ticket Progress After Submission
Submitting a ticket isn't the end; you need to follow up.
OKX: On the help center page, tap [My Support Tickets] to check progress. The email channel

You can track ticket status in the help center. Normal processing time varies by issue; complex appeals might take a few weeks.
Neither platform will ever ask for your password or 2FA code. Anyone claiming to be official support and asking for these is a scammer. Also, if your problem involves banks or payment providers (like a wrong Tag), support will need to coordinate with the third party, which can extend turnaround time.

How to Verify Your Issue Has Been Properly Submitted
After submitting, you'll receive a confirmation email with a reference number, or you can see the progress under "My Tickets." If you're chatting live, make sure the agent creates a case number (Ticket ID) and doesn't just leave it at conversation level.
Once you've submitted, reply once within 24 hours to follow up and keep your spot in the queue. Bookmark the main entry points (OKX Help Center, Binance Help Center). For fund-related issues, have these four things ready in advance: TxID, transfer amount, time, and screenshots. This saves you from back-and-forth requests for missing info.
