The core sequence after registration is:Security Settings → Identity Verification → Funding Preparation. Security settings must be completed before depositing funds; otherwise, you risk being unable to recover assets if issues arise.

1. Set Up Security First (Must Be Done Before Depositing)

Right after registration, your account has no assets, making it the safest time to configure security measures. If you deposit funds first and then encounter issues during setup (e.g., Google Authenticator binding failure), the recovery process will be much more troublesome.

1.1 Bind Google Authenticator

This is the most important step—no exceptions. SMS verification codes can be intercepted via SIM swapping, but Google Authenticator generates offline, dynamic passwords for higher security.
