Where to Register an Account in the OKX App?

1. Download the Official App First

Make sure your phone has the genuine OKX app, not a fake or phishing one.

Steps:

• iOS users: Search "OKX" in the App Store and download. Apple IDs registered in mainland China cannot find it directly; you need to use an Apple ID from outside mainland China to download.
• Android users: Scan the QR code on the official OKX website to download. It's recommended to use a mobile browser to scan; WeChat scanning may be blocked.

Completion: The app icon shows "OKX", and the page loads normally after opening.

Safety reminder: Only two download sources are safe: App Store (iOS) and the official OKX website (Android). Do not download through third-party links or unknown QR codes.

2. Open the App and Find the Sign-Up Button

On the app's home or login page, locate the "Sign Up" button.

Steps:

1. Open the OKX App.
2. At the bottom or middle of the page, you will see "Log In" and "Sign Up" options.
3. Tap 【Sign Up】 to enter the registration page.

Completion: You will see the registration form with fields for phone number, email, password, etc.

3. Fill in Registration Details and Verify

Follow the prompts to enter your phone number, email, and password, then receive and input the verification codes.

Steps:

1. Enter phone number: Choose the correct country code (+86 for mainland China), and input your phone number.
2. Enter email: Provide a commonly used email (QQ, 163, Gmail, etc.) for system notifications and password recovery.
3. Set a password: Include uppercase, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols, at least 8 characters.
4. Tap "Get Code", and enter the SMS verification code and email verification code respectively.
5. (Optional) If you have an invitation code, fill it in. It's not required for registration.

Completion: After all codes are correctly entered, tap "Sign Up" and the page will jump to the account dashboard.

Common reasons for failure:

• Phone not receiving SMS: Check if the country code is correct, the number is your own, and signal is normal.
• Email not receiving code: Check the spam folder or confirm the email address is correct.
• "Phone number already registered": If it's your own, use "Forgot Password" to recover; if not, contact OKX support.

4. Complete Identity Verification Right After Registration

Registration is just the first step. Without identity verification, you cannot trade, deposit, or withdraw.

Steps:

1. Tap the user center icon on the top left of the homepage, and enter 【Identity Verification】.
2. Upload front and back of your ID document as prompted, and complete facial recognition (nod, blink, etc.).
3. Submit and wait for review, usually completed within minutes to 24 hours.

Completion: The account shows "Verified" or "Standard Identity Verification" status.

Risk reminders:

• You must bind both a phone number and an email during registration; OKX does not support binding only one.
• You must be at least 18 years old; otherwise KYC verification cannot pass.

How to confirm your account is fully opened?
