How to Bind OKX Google Authenticator?

1. First, Download Google Authenticator
Search for "Google Authenticator" in your phone's app store and install it. Note the differences in Chinese names:
iPhone: Search for "Google Authenticator" in the App Store. You need a non-mainland China Apple ID (the app is not available in the mainland China region).
Android: Search and download from Google Play. If your device cannot access Google services, you can also search for "Authenticator" in Huawei AppGallery, Xiaomi App Store, etc.

3. Binding Steps on the Web
Log in to the OKX official website, click [Profile] in the top right corner → [Security Center].
Find [Authenticator App], click [Set Up] or [Enable Verification].
The page will display a QR code and key. Open Google Authenticator and scan or manually enter the key as described above.
Enter the dynamic verification code and click [Confirm] to complete the binding.
During the binding process, the system will generate a set ofbackup recovery codes(or key string). Be sure to take a screenshot or write them down and store them in a safe place. If you change your phone or delete the authenticator app, this key is your only way to recover the binding.

Once bound, every time you log in, withdraw, or change security settings, the system will require you to enter the 6-digit dynamic verification code currently displayed in Google Authenticator. The code refreshes every 30 seconds, so be careful not to wait for it to refresh before submitting.
Verification method: After binding, log out and log back in. After entering your password on the login page, the system will ask for the Google Authenticator dynamic code. If you can access your account normally, the binding was successful.

5. Troubleshooting Binding Failures
QR code scan fails
Check if the camera permission for your phone is enabled.
If the lighting is insufficient, choose the "Enter setup key" method.
Dynamic code error
Ensure your phone's system time is set to "Automatic sync" — Google Authenticator generates codes based on time, and a time difference will make them invalid.
Make sure you enter the currently displayed 6-digit number. The code refreshes every 30 seconds, so don't wait for it to refresh before submitting.
Cannot find the entry
