If your Earn earnings haven't arrived, there are usually two main reasons: the interest accrual time hasn't started yet, or your funds haven't actually been lent out. Before rushing to contact support, go through these steps yourself – you can likely find the cause.

Step 1: Confirm That Your Assets Were Successfully Lent Out – No Lending, No Interest
Earnings from Simple Earn come from the interest paid by margin traders who borrow your assets. If your funds aren't lent out, there's no interest.
What to do: Check whether your subscription order has been successfully matched with a borrowing demand.
How to do it: On the OKX App or website, go to Assets → Earn and find your subscription order. Tap to view details and check the status field:
If it shows "Lent Out" or "Matched": Your assets have been lent out and are generating earnings.
If it shows "Unmatched" or "Pending Match": Your assets haven't been lent out and generate nothing. This usually means your minimum lending rate is higher than the market rate, or borrowing demand is currently too low.
Completion standard: You can see whether the current order status is "Lent Out" or "Unmatched".
Common pitfall: Many people assume earnings start automatically after subscribing. But with Simple Earn, interest only accrues after the assets are successfully lent. If you set a high minimum lending APR, your order may never get matched, and you'll earn zero interest.
Step 2: Verify the Interest Accrual Time – It's Not Paid on Subscription Day
If your assets have been lent out but you still haven't received earnings, the next step is to check whether the timing rules are met.
What to do: Confirm that your subscription time has passed the interest accrual starting point.
How to do it: Review OKX's interest calculation rules:
Interest is calculated by the hour. If the lending period is less than one full hour, no interest is earned for that hour.
After your order is matched at time T, hourly interest starts accumulating from T+1 hour and is distributed after T+1 hour. For example, if matched at 9:30 AM, interest builds from 10:00 AM and should appear in your account by around 11:00 AM.
If you subscribed less than 2 hours ago, it is completely normal to see no earnings yet. No interest is earned during the hour in which you redeem an order.
Completion standard: You confirm that the subscription was made more than 2 hours ago and there was no redemption during that period.

Step 3: Check Your Earnings Crediting Account – It Might Be Somewhere Else
Earnings may end up in a different place than you expect.
What to do: Identify where your earnings are being credited.
How to do it: Simple Earn interest is paid directly into your Funding Account, not your Earn account. If you've been watching the Earn balance, you won't see any change. Go to Assets → Funding Account and check the balance history.
Completion standard: You find the corresponding earnings entry in your Funding Account, or you confirm that it is indeed missing.
High-risk warning: Simple Earn is not a principal-protected product. OKX's user agreement clearly states that "Simple Earn is not a principal-guaranteed service; users may lose part or all of their principal." In extreme market conditions, if a margin trader's position is liquidated and the insurance fund plus interest income is insufficient to cover the loss, the platform may advance funds but will recoup them later by deducting from future insurance funds and interest. Missing earnings isn't necessarily the worst outcome – keeping your principal safe is what matters most.
Final verification: After the three steps above, go to Assets → Funding Account and check recent credit records. If the order status is "Lent Out" and over 2 hours have passed since subscription with no credit appearing in the Funding Account, then contact in-app live support and provide a screenshot of your subscription record along with the order ID for further investigation.
