If you cannot select a network when depositing, do not rush to switch wallets. Go to the OKX Status page. It shows the deposit and withdrawal status of each chain in real time.

Step 1: Check Status on the Deposit Page — Most Direct

What to do: Confirm whether the coin and network you selected are currently available.

How to do it (App): Tap Assets at the bottom → Deposit. After choosing a coin, the system lists all supported networks. If a network shows "Maintenance," "Suspended," or is grayed out, it is temporarily unavailable.

How to do it (Web): Go to Assets → Deposit → Select coin → Select network. Only networks you can select are currently available. Grayed-out networks are suspended.

Done when: You can see a list of available networks, the selected network shows no error, and a deposit address can be generated normally.

Step 2: Check OKX Status for Details — Do Not Force Transfers During Maintenance

If the page says the network is suspended and you want to know when it will recover, check the official Status page.

How to do it: Open the OKX official website → find "More" in the top or bottom menu → click Status. Scroll to "Currency deposit and withdrawal status," search for your coin, and click the "Running" icon to see supported networks and their current status.

Done when: The Status page shows whether the network is "Running" or "Under maintenance." If it is under maintenance, an estimated recovery time is usually shown.

Step 3: Wait for Recovery — Do Not Operate During Maintenance

If the Status page clearly shows a network's deposit and withdrawal are suspended, do not use it during that period.

Key point: A network may be suspended for technical upgrades or wallet maintenance. During this period, assets already on-chain will not be lost, but they will not be credited. If you deposit at this time, the funds will be stuck on-chain and the system will process them automatically after recovery.

Done when: The Status page shows the network has returned to "Running," and the deposit page can select that network normally.

Common Reason for Failure: Sending Funds to a Suspended Network Without Reading Announcements

OKX posts announcements before each network upgrade. They clearly state: "Do not deposit or withdraw related tokens during the network upgrade to avoid fund loss." If you operate without reading the announcement, your deposit may be delayed or trigger risk control.

Risk Reminder: Network Suspension Does Not Mean Funds Are Lost

If you operate during a network suspension, your funds will not be lost. They will be stuck on-chain and credited after recovery. But be careful: if you choose the wrong network, such as a network OKX does not support at all, the funds may be impossible to recover.

How to Verify After the Operation

Go to Assets → Deposit and select the coin you wanted to deposit. If the previously grayed-out network can now be selected, it means the network has recovered. If you are still unsure, go to Assets → Deposit Records and check whether there is a "Pending" deposit record. If there is, wait for the system to process it automatically.
