LTC deposit core rules: Network must be "LTC Mainnet", address starts with "L", and you must select the exact same network on both the wallet and OKX. LTC has its own independent blockchain; do not deposit via networks like ERC20 or BSC. Choosing the wrong network may result in irretrievable loss of funds. Before initiating a deposit, confirm the address and network on the OKX deposit page, then proceed to send from your external wallet.

1. Preparation: Complete OKX Account KYC

What to do: Ensure your OKX account has completed identity verification.

How to do it:

  1. Log in to the OKX app or website and go to 【Profile】 → 【Identity Verification】.

  2. Follow the instructions to submit your identification documents and complete standard identity verification. You cannot use the deposit function without completing KYC.

When is it done: The account shows "Verified" or "Standard identity verification" status.

2. Get LTC Deposit Address on OKX

What to do: Log in to OKX, go to the deposit page, and obtain your LTC deposit address.

How to do it:

  1. Log in to the OKX app or website, click 【Assets】 → 【Deposit】 → 【Deposit crypto】.

  2. Search for "LTC".

  3. Select network: You must choose Litecoin Mainnet (LTC Mainnet). The OKX deposit page will show the currently supported network options; please refer to the actual displayed list.

  4. The page will generate an LTC deposit address starting with "L"; click to copy it.

When is it done: You have copied an LTC deposit address starting with "L".

Prerequisite: OKX KYC verification completed.

LTC is an independent blockchain; addresses start with "L" and are completely different from Ethereum's "0x" addresses. If your wallet displays LTC with a "0x" address, it is likely a wrapped token (e.g., BEP20-LTC) and cannot be sent directly to OKX's LTC Mainnet address.

3. Send from External Wallet

What to do: Send LTC from your external wallet (such as Trust Wallet, Litewallet, hardware wallet) to OKX.

How to do it:

  1. Open your external wallet, find your LTC asset, and tap 【Send】 or 【Transfer】.

  2. Paste the LTC address you copied from OKX (starting with "L") into the "Recipient address" field.

  3. Key step: Under "Select network", you must choose 【Litecoin Mainnet】(LTC Mainnet) – the exact same network you selected on OKX. If the wallet shows options like ERC20 or BEP20, those are wrapped tokens on other chains; do not select them.

  4. Ensure your wallet has enough LTC to cover the gas fee; a small amount of LTC is required as a miner fee on the Litecoin network.

  5. Submit the transaction.

When is it done: The transaction has been submitted; the wallet shows "Transaction broadcast" or "Pending confirmation", and you have obtained a TxID.

Common failure reasons:

  • Wrong network selected: You selected LTC Mainnet on OKX but chose ERC20 or BEP20 in your wallet; funds sent to a different network will not arrive.

  • Incorrect address format: An LTC address must start with "L". If you copied an address starting with "0x" or another prefix, the address or network is incorrect.

  • Insufficient gas fee: Your wallet does not have enough LTC to pay the miner fee, causing the transaction to stall.

  • Sent to testnet: Some wallets offer a "Testnet" option; selecting testnet will result in funds not arriving.

Risk warnings:

  • Network mismatch = potential permanent loss of funds: The coin and network must match exactly for a successful deposit. Choosing the wrong network may cause loss of assets.

  • Only send LTC: Do not send other cryptocurrencies (e.g., USDT, BTC) to an LTC address; those assets cannot be credited.

  • Respect the minimum deposit amount: Deposits below the minimum limit set by OKX may not be credited. Check the exact amount displayed on the deposit page.

4. Confirm Arrival

What to do: Wait for blockchain confirmation and check your OKX account balance.

How to do it:

  1. Use the TxID to look up the transaction status on a Litecoin block explorer. The LTC network has a block time of approximately 2.5 minutes; confirmation is usually completed within a few minutes.

  2. Log in to OKX, go to 【Assets】 → 【Funding account】 or 【Trading account】, and check whether the LTC balance has increased.

When is it done: The LTC balance in your OKX trading account has updated.

How to confirm that you have done everything correctly?

Enter the TxID into a block explorer and verify the transaction status is "Success". Then log in to OKX and check that the LTC balance has increased on the 【Assets】 page. If the transaction is confirmed on-chain but has not arrived after more than 30 minutes, check whether the network selected during the deposit matches the network used in your wallet – this is the most common sticking point for LTC deposits. For first-time operations, it is recommended to send a small test amount first, then transfer the remainder after confirmation.
