How to Deposit JTO on OKX? Jito Funding Tutorial
Depositing JTO on OKX follows a similar process to depositing other tokens, but the key difference is: JTO is a Solana ecosystem token, so you must select the correct deposit network; otherwise your funds could be lost.

OKX listed JTO/USDT spot trading on January 8, 2024, and supports JTO deposits and withdrawals. Jito is a liquid staking protocol on Solana, and JTO is its governance token. Before depositing, first confirm which blockchain your JTO is on — the most common network is Solana.
Prerequisite: Check Which Network Your JTO Is On
JTO primarily circulates on the Solana network, but there are also cross-chain versions on other chains (such as Ethereum, BSC, etc.). Before proceeding, verify at the source (the other exchange or your Web3 wallet): which network your JTO address belongs to. Without this information, the following steps won't work.
Step 1: Get Your JTO Deposit Address and Network on OKX
What to do: Log in to OKX, find the JTO deposit entry, select the deposit network, and copy the address.
How to do it:
App: Go to [Assets] → [Deposit] → search "JTO" or "Jito"
Web: [Assets] → [Deposit] → search JTO
The system will display a list of available deposit networks (Solana, Ethereum, etc.); different networks correspond to different addresses
When you're done: You've selected a network, the corresponding deposit address appears on the page, and you have copied that address.
⚠️ Selecting the correct network is critical for fund safety. If you choose the Solana network, you must transfer JTO from a Solana address; if you choose Ethereum, you must use an ERC-20 address. Address and network must match exactly.
Step 2: Initiate the Transfer from the Source
What to do: At the place where you hold JTO (another exchange or a Web3 wallet), send the tokens to the address obtained in Step 1.
How to do it:
Case A – Withdrawing JTO from another exchange to OKX
Log in to the source exchange → go to [Withdraw] → select JTO
Paste the deposit address you copied from OKX in Step 1
The withdrawal network must match the one you selected on OKX (e.g., if OKX used Solana, the source exchange withdrawal must also use the Solana network)
Enter the amount and submit the withdrawal request
Case B – Sending from your own Web3 wallet to OKX
Open your Web3 wallet (e.g., Phantom, OKX Web3 wallet, MetaMask, etc.)
Click [Send] → paste the OKX deposit address
Verify that the currently connected network is the same as the one you selected on OKX
Check the gas fee → submit the transaction
When you're done: The transaction has been submitted and you have a TxID (transaction hash).
Step 3: Confirm the Deposit
What to do: Check the deposit status on OKX.
How to do it:
Go to [Assets] → [Deposit History] to see the status
Alternatively, copy the TxID and look it up on the corresponding blockchain explorer
When you're done: The JTO balance on the OKX [Assets] page has increased and the status shows "Completed".
Common Reasons for Failure
Network mismatch: This is the most common reason deposits go wrong. JTO is most mainstream on Solana, but if you transfer from an Ethereum network to an OKX Solana address, the funds will be lost because the address format and chain are incompatible.
Insufficient gas fees: When transferring from a wallet, if the wallet doesn't have enough gas tokens for that network (you need SOL to send JTO on Solana, ETH for ERC-20), the transaction will get stuck.
Below the minimum deposit amount: OKX's deposit page displays a minimum deposit limit. Amounts below this threshold may not be credited; refer to the page for the exact value.
Risk Reminder
Sending to the wrong network is one of the hardest things to recover. Once sent incorrectly, the recovery process is extremely complex and success is not guaranteed. Before every transfer, verify both the address and the network three times.
OKX deposit addresses are typically valid long-term, but it's recommended to obtain a fresh address each time before depositing, in case old addresses become invalid due to platform upgrades.
How to Verify the Operation Was Successful
After the deposit, go to the OKX [Assets] page, search for JTO, and check if the available balance has increased by the corresponding amount.
Then go to [Deposit History] and check this deposit — if it shows "Completed", the funds are available; if "Pending", wait for the required number of on-chain confirmations and it will update automatically.
If more than 30 minutes have passed and it hasn't arrived, look up the TxID on a blockchain explorer. If the chain shows success but OKX hasn't credited it, provide the TxID to OKX customer support for assistance.

FAQ
Q: Does JTO deposit support the Solana network? Yes. JTO is a Solana ecosystem project. In OKX's listing announcement for JTO, the contract address is explicitly the Solana chain address jtojtomepa8beP8AuQc6eXt5FriJwfFMwQx2v2f9mCL, and the deposit page usually includes the Solana network option.
Q: Are JitoSOL and JTO the same thing? No. JitoSOL is the liquid staking token of the Jito protocol — the receipt you receive when staking SOL, representing the staked SOL plus staking rewards. JTO is the governance token of the Jito network. They are different assets. Before depositing, confirm whether you hold JTO or JitoSOL; they have separate deposit entries on OKX.
