OKX Alipay Buy Crypto Tutorial: How to Buy USDT with Alipay

OKX supports buying USDT with Alipay. The entire process is completed within the app's C2C or Quick Buy. You need to first complete identity verification and link your Alipay account, then find a merchant that accepts Alipay, place an order, pay via Alipay transfer, and the merchant will release the crypto after confirming payment. The Alipay fiat purchase channel requires that the account has completed identity verification, and the real-name information of the linked Alipay account must match the OKX identity verification information.

Specific steps:

1. Open the OKX App, tap the avatar in the upper left corner of the home page, enter 【Identity Verification】, upload front and back photos of your ID card, and complete facial recognition.

2. After passing verification, go to the 【C2C Buy】 page, tap 【My】 in the bottom right corner - 【Payment Settings】 - 【Add Payment Method】.

3. Select "Alipay", enter your Alipay account details, and complete linking.

Completion criteria: Identity verification shows "Verified", and you can see the linked Alipay account in the payment method list.

Step 1: Enter the Buy Crypto Page and Select Alipay Payment

1. On the App home page, tap 【Buy Crypto】 or 【C2C Buy】.

Step 3: Complete Payment with Alipay

Common Failure Reasons

• KYC verification not completed: The fiat trading channel requires real-name verification to use.

• Alipay real-name does not match platform verification: Merchants will verify if the recipient account name matches the platform real-name; mismatches will result in order rejection.

• Forgot to click "I have paid" after payment: The order will time out and be automatically canceled.

• Sensitive words in transfer remarks: Writing words like "Bitcoin" or "USDT" may cause banks or Alipay to block the transaction.
