OKX cannot directly withdraw USDT as RMB to a bank card. You must first sell USDT for RMB, then use C2C trading so the buyer transfers money to your card. The path is: USDT → Sell via C2C → Buyer sends RMB to your bank card → You release the coins.

Step 1: Transfer USDT from Trading Account to Funding Account

C2C trading uses the "Funding Account", not the spot account.

  • What to do: Move your USDT from the "Spot Account" or "Futures Account" to the "Funding Account".

  • How to do it: Open the OKX App, tap "Assets" at the bottom → "Transfer" → choose "From Spot to Funding", select USDT, enter the amount, confirm. This transfer is free and instant.

  • Completion check: See the USDT balance under "Assets" → "Funding Account".

Common mistake: Many people click "Sell" in the spot account directly but can't find the C2C entrance or see insufficient balance. C2C trading must go through the Funding Account, so this transfer step cannot be skipped.

Step 2: Go to the C2C Sell Page and Filter Buyers

  • What to do: Sell USDT to buyers on the C2C market; they will send RMB to your bank card.

  • How to do it:

    1. On the OKX App homepage, tap "C2C Buy" → switch to "Sell" at the top.

    2. Choose coin USDT and fiat currency CNY.

    3. The system lists merchants buying now. Filter tips: Choose those with high trade volume (e.g., 5,000+ trades), completion rate above 99%, and badges like "Verified Merchant" or "Gold Merchant".

    4. Enter the amount you want to sell, tap "Sell".

    5. Select your payment method — you must use a bank card in your own real name. Do not use an account that is not under your name.

  • Completion check: The order is created, and the buyer can see your bank card details.

Step 3: Wait for Buyer's Payment, Confirm Receipt, Then Release Coins

This is the most important step. Doing it in the wrong order can cause problems.

  • What to do: After the buyer transfers money, you confirm the funds have reached your bank card, and only then tap "Release" in the app.

  • How to do it:

    1. After the buyer pays, the app will show "Buyer has paid, please confirm".

    2. Open your own banking app and verify the money is truly in your account. Do not rely only on the app notification or a screenshot from the buyer.

    3. Once you confirm the money has arrived, go back to the OKX order page and tap "I have received payment" → the system automatically releases the USDT to the buyer.

  • Completion check: Order status becomes "Completed", USDT is deducted from your Funding Account, and RMB is in your bank card.

Risk Warning

The biggest risk in C2C trading is a "frozen bank card" — if the buyer's funds are linked to fraud or money laundering, your bank card may be frozen, and unfreezing can take months. How to avoid this: Keep each transaction under 50,000 CNY; trade only with merchants who have high trade volume and good ratings; never write words like "USDT", "coin", "buy crypto" or any sensitive terms in the bank transfer remarks.

Post-Trade Checks and Notes

How to verify the operation: Open your banking app and make sure the balance has actually increased. Do not just check the OKX order status. Never tap "I have received payment" before the money is in your account.

After the money arrives, it is strongly suggested to save a full screenshot of the C2C order (showing order number, counterparty nickname, amount, time) and the bank statement, so you can prove the source of funds is legal if the bank or police ask later. If you haven't received payment within 30 minutes, first remind the buyer via the order chat window; if there is no response, tap "Appeal" to get OKX customer support involved.
