III. Key Information on the Page
Total Asset Value: The estimated total value of all assets held by the user, converted to USD/USDT. The chart updates approximately every hour (typically at 15-20 minutes past each hour).
Cryptocurrency Equity(Balance of Each Crypto): The quantity of a specific cryptocurrency in the account. Formula: Cryptocurrency Equity = Available Balance of that crypto + Frozen Balance + Options Market Value.
Profit/Loss: The net return of the investment portfolio, calculated from the time of the first deposit into the account. Formula: Current Portfolio Value - Initial Portfolio Value + Value of Transferred-Out Crypto - Value of Transferred-In Crypto.
Asset Classification: Assets are displayed separately by account type—Funding Account, Trading Account, Finance Account, etc. Click on the corresponding section to view the specific cryptocurrency balances under that account.
IV. Balance Verification After Asset Transfers
If you find that the balance of a certain account displayed on the [Assets] page does not match your recollection, the most common reason is thatfunds have been transferred between different accounts, but you did not switch to the corresponding account when viewing.
Verification Method:
Check the balance distribution of each account section on the [Assets] page.
For cross-account operations, use the[Transfer]function to move funds from the Funding Account to the Trading Account, or vice versa.
If questions remain, go to [Bills] or [Transaction History] to view detailed records.
Total asset valuation doesn't match the actual available funds?
The total asset valuation includes assets in all accounts (Funding, Trading, Finance), some of which may be in a frozen state (e.g., order freeze, wealth management lock-up period). The actual available funds are the "Available Balance," not the total asset valuation. Check the "Available" quantity of each cryptocurrency on the asset page—that is the portion currently usable.
What price is used to calculate the asset valuation?
It is calculated based on the OKX platform's U.S. Dollar Index price for that cryptocurrency. If a cryptocurrency does not have a U.S. Dollar Index price, the spot price of that crypto against USDT is taken and multiplied by the USDT-to-USD price. Therefore, total asset valuation may vary slightly between platforms.
