There is a commonly overlooked rule in Binance WOTD rewards: you must use the same account to complete a required number of correct answers during the activity period. "Complete" means answering correctly, not just participating. If you simply open the game and guess a few times without reaching the correct-answer threshold, you will not get any share of the reward pool.

First, Check If You Are Eligible to Play
WOTD is not available to all Binance users. The official announcement repeatedly emphasizes one restriction: only users in eligible countries or regions who have completed account verification (KYC) can participate and receive rewards. Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) are usually excluded from the activity. Whether you can see the WOTD entry is itself the first eligibility filter.
The entry is in the Binance App: open the App, find "More" on the homepage, then find Word of the Day (WOTD) under the "Gift & Campaigns" category. If you use the web version, there is also a corresponding activity entry.
Game Rules: 6 Chances to Guess a Word
WOTD plays like Wordle, but the word list focuses on cryptocurrency terms. The goal of each game is to guess an English word of 3 to 8 letters (usually 6 letters) within 6 attempts. After each guess, the letter tiles change color:
Green: the letter is correct and in the right position
Yellow: the letter is in the word, but in the wrong position
Black/Gray: the letter is not in the word
This color feedback is the main clue for narrowing down the answer. An experienced approach is to start with crypto terms containing common letters, such as TOKEN, CHAIN, or BLOCK, then use the feedback to eliminate or confirm letter positions.
How Many Times You Can Play Per Day Depends on Sharing
The base number is 1 game per day. After finishing the first game, the game interface will show a "Get A New WOTD" button. Clicking it requires you to share a featured link to social media. The second game will only unlock when a logged-in Binance user clicks your shared link.
This means: if you do not have social media channels or do not want to share, you can actually only play 1 game per day.
Reward Threshold: Correct Answers Determine Eligibility
WOTD rewards are not given just for participating. The activity is calculated by week, and the reward threshold changes with the weekly theme, but the core logic is the same:
You must answer a sufficient number of words correctly within one activity period. Thresholds in past announcements have included 3 correct answers, 5 correct answers, and so on. If an activity period is 7 days and you can play up to 2 games per day, you theoretically have up to 14 answer attempts. But the threshold is based on correct answers, not participation count.
The reward pool is distributed proportionally: your correct answers ÷ total correct answers of all eligible users = your reward share. There is a cap on individual rewards (for example, 0.01 BNB or 5 USDC). There is also an extra reward: if you reach the correct-answer threshold and participate on 5 or more non-consecutive days, you can share an additional reward pool.
Where and When Rewards Are Sent
Rewards do not arrive immediately. All rewards are sent directly to your Rewards Hub, usually within one to two weeks after the activity ends. After arrival, you need to claim them manually. Vouchers have an expiration date and will not be reissued after expiry.
Reward forms may include BNB, USDC, Binance points, trading fee discount vouchers, and more, depending on the weekly activity settings. There is no fixed "daily amount." The amount you receive depends on how many you answered correctly and how many eligible users share the pool during the same period.
