Web registration and App signup create the same account — same person, same account system. However, the App has about a 25% higher signup success rate than the web version, because the network channels are different.
The web version depends on browser DNS resolution and HTTPS connections. When the network is unstable, pages often fail to load. The App uses an independent channel and automatically switches backup routes, so it is much more stable.
| Aspect | Web version | App |
|---|---|---|
| Network stability | Depends on browser, easily affected by DNS | Built-in multi-route auto switching, more stable |
| Signup success rate | Average | About 25% higher than web |
| Convenience | Needs a computer | Anywhere; easier camera and face verification |
| Account system | Same account | Same account |
Common web registration problems
Email not received: Especially with QQ Mail, 163, and similar Chinese email providers, verification emails can be blocked or sent to spam. Use Gmail or Outlook.
Page fails to load: In some areas, direct access to the official site is unstable, and the browser may be stuck on loading.
Referral code missed: The referral code box on the signup page cannot be added after the account is opened. If you skip it quickly, you may permanently lose commission rewards.
Why App signup is easier
More stable code delivery: The App's built-in channel is faster than web email push, and the failure rate for receiving codes is clearly lower.
Easier KYC photos: Use the phone camera directly for ID photos and face recognition. It is much smoother than the web version.
Security setup can be finished right away: After signup, immediately enable Google Authenticator and anti-phishing code in the App without switching back and forth.
Recommended path
Download the official App first to complete registration and KYC. If you try two or three times on the web and cannot receive the code or the page cannot load, switch to the App. It will most likely work.
Next steps
After signup, go to security settings and bind Google Authenticator. Write down the recovery key and keep it safe. Then set an anti-phishing code so you can identify real emails later.
