Binance restricts services in certain regions. Users in mainland China cannot download the app through regular app store channels. Please follow the instructions below.
Prerequisites
Users in mainland China should prepare a usable overseas Apple ID (preferably from Hong Kong or Singapore), or a phone number that can receive SMS.
A commonly used email address (Gmail, Outlook, or QQ Mail are all acceptable).
Install a two-factor authentication tool such as Google Authenticator.
Method 1: Sign up via mobile (recommended)
For users in mainland China, mobile is the most practical way to register on Binance, but there are hurdles in downloading the app.
Android users
Install directly from the official APK file provided by Binance. Do not search in any third-party app store. The official APK download link is https://download.biancecoin.com/pack/BNApp_F0000170.apk. After downloading, enable "Allow installation from unknown sources" in your phone's settings, then open the APK to complete installation.
iOS users
The Binance app has been removed from the domestic App Store. You need to sign in with an overseas Apple ID to the App Store, then search "Binance" and download. The overseas ID can be obtained by going to "Settings" → "Apple ID" → "Media & Purchases" → "View Account" → "Country/Region" and changing to Hong Kong or Singapore. You can switch back to your original ID after downloading.
In-app registration
Open the app, tap "Sign Up", and choose to register with an email or phone number. Enter the verification code and set a strong password (at least 8 characters, including upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special symbols). When the system asks "Do you have a referrer?", select "Yes" and enter the Binance referral code: FYLK9104 (Note: the referral code can only be entered during registration; it cannot be added later). Immediately after registration, enable Google Authenticator two-factor verification.
Completion criteria: The app's home screen shows tradable market data, not just a "Registration successful" message.
Method 2: Sign up via computer
The advantage of signing up on the computer is that you can directly check the domain name to easily identify fake sites.
Open your browser, manually type www.binance.com into the address bar, and press Enter to visit the official website. Do not navigate through search engine results or links shared by others. Click the "Register" button in the top right corner of the homepage, and complete registration by filling in your email/phone number, password, and verification code.
If the official website page fails to load, it may be due to network or regional restrictions. In that case, it is recommended to switch to the mobile method.
Completion criteria: After registration, you will receive an official confirmation email from Binance and can log in to your web account normally.
Risk warning: Spotting fake sites
Phishing websites are one of the most rampant scams in the crypto industry. Fraudsters create pages that look almost identical to the official site, tricking users into entering their passwords. The URL may differ by only a single letter.
How to identify:
Domain check: Binance's official global domain is binance.com. Variants such as blinance.com or binance-official.com are all fake.
SSL certificate: The official site has a lock icon on the left side of the address bar; clicking it reveals the certificate information.
Official verification tool: Binance provides the "Binance Verify" official verification platform (https://www.binance.com/en-jp/official-verification). You can enter any received email address, SMS sender, or social media account to instantly verify whether it is an official Binance channel.
Never click links from private messages: Binance will never send you an account opening link via private message or ask for your password or verification code.

Verification after registration
After registration, do not deposit funds immediately. First, complete the two-factor authentication setup (Google Authenticator or SMS verification), then try logging in once to confirm the account is accessible. Verification method: Log in to the account via www.binance.com and check whether the "Assets" page shows a "Total Assets" display (which will be 0 after registration). It is not recommended to search for download links on social media or communities. The official download entry is exclusively the APK direct link and the official website domain.
