Step-by-Step Guide to Registering with a Phone Number
The following registration process is based on Binance's official tutorial and can be completed on the App or website.
Step 1: Go to the Registration Page
Click the "Register" button on the Binance App or website.
Step 2: Choose Phone Registration and Fill in Details
Select "Phone Number" as the registration method.
In the country code dropdown, select your country/region—users in mainland China should select +86.
Enter your phone number.Be careful not to enter the leading 0 of the number.
Set a password. The password must beat least 8 characters and contain both uppercase letters and numbers—both are required.
Step 3: Receive and Enter the Verification Code
Click "Get Verification Code," check the 6-digit code in your phone's SMS, and enter it. If you don't receive it, first check if your phone has spam filtering enabled, try switching networks, or restart your phone.
Step 4: Complete Registration and Proceed to Identity Verification
After submitting the verification code, your account is created. The system will guide you to the identity verification page—it is recommended not to skip this step, as an unverified account can only view market data and cannot deposit or trade.
Two Key Restrictions When Registering with a Phone Number
1. IP Region Restrictions
Binance restricts access from certain regions.IP addresses from the US and Singapore cannot complete registration. If your current network cannot access it, switch to a node in another region and try again.
2. Phone Number Already in Use
If the system indicates "Phone number already in use," it means the number has been previously registered for a Binance account. Try logging in directly with this number, or reset the account via "Forgot Password."

Result Verification
After registration, go to the "Personal Center" in the App to check your account status:
If it shows "Unverified," only the first step of registration is complete—you still need to complete identity verification to unlock all features.
If it shows "Verified," your account is fully activated and you can perform all operations such as deposits and trading.
