How to Change the Display Currency After Opening a Binance Account?
To change the display currency (the fiat type used for asset display and price calculation) in your Binance account, go to "Settings" in the App or on the website.This change does not affect actual asset value or trading profit/loss; it only changes the fiat symbol and conversion values shown in the UI.Below are the steps for both the App and Web version.

Steps on the App
Log in to the Binance App and tap the [Account Center] icon at the bottom right.
On the Account Center page, tap the gear icon at the top right to enter [Settings].
In Settings, find the [General] option.
Under General settings, tap [Exchange Rate] or [Currency]. The system will list all supported fiat currencies.
Select your desired currency (e.g., CNY, USD, EUR). The system will automatically save and apply the change.
Steps on the Web
Log in to the Binance website.
Click your profile avatar or username at the top right to enter [Account Settings].
In Account Settings, look for [Preference Settings] or [Display Currency] related options.
Click to enter, select your desired fiat currency from the list, and save.
Refresh the page to confirm the setting has taken effect.
Two Concepts to Distinguish
When modifying the display currency, note that the following two operations are not the same:
Display Currency: As described in this article, it only affects the display unit ofasset balance, trading quotes, and profit/loss calculations. For example, if you hold 1 BTC, choosing USD displays it as $60,000, while switching to CNY shows ¥430,000; the actual BTC amount remains unchanged.
Trading Pair Quotes: If you want to trade directly using fiat currencies like CNY/USD, changing the display currency alone will not help. You need to enter Binance's [Fiat] or [C2C] trading zone and use the fiat trading channel. Changing the display currency does not affect trading pair selection.

Common Questions & Regional Restrictions
Will all pages update simultaneously after changing the display currency?
Yes. After the setting is applied, the amount display on pages such as Spot, Futures, Earn, and Wallet Overview will all be unified to the selected currency. However, the fiat amount of completed orders in the trading history is based on the exchange rate at the time of the trade and will not change with the current setting.
What if I cannot find the currency option?
First, make sure your App is updated to the latest version. If you still cannot find it, it may be related to account permissions in your region — due to regulatory restrictions in some areas, certain fiat currencies may not be available as display currencies.
