What to Do If You Can't Find the Registration Entry After Installing Binance?

If you installed the app and can't find a "Register" button, it's likely because you downloaded the version from the mainland China App Store, or the app itself hides the registration button due to regional restrictions. The solution is simple: either switch to an overseas Apple ID to re-download the app, or register directly via the official website without using the app.

1. First, confirm you downloaded the correct app

Binance's iOS app cannot be found in the mainland China App Store. If you search for it, you'll likely find a counterfeit version. If you used a domestic Apple ID and downloaded directly from the App Store, you probably got the wrong one.

The genuine Binance app looks like this:

  • Icon: Black background with yellow border and the "币" (coin) character logo
  • Developer: Listed as "Binance"
  • Home page: Displays market data and trading options

If the app you downloaded only shows news or community features without a "Register" button, you likely have a non-trading fake app.

Solution: Uninstall the current app, use an overseas Apple ID (recommended from Taiwan or Hong Kong) to search for "Binance" in the App Store and re-download. If you don't know how to get an overseas ID, you can register a new one yourself, set the region to Taiwan, and select "None" for payment method—it's simple.

2. If the app is correct but you still can't see "Register"

Sometimes the app is correctly downloaded, but the page only shows "Login" and the registration entry is hidden. This is usually due to your regional IP—your IP shows you're in mainland China, and the Binance app may restrict the display of the registration button for certain regions.

In this case, there are two options:

First (fastest): Register directly via the official website without using the app. Open www.binance.com in your mobile browser, and you'll see a "Register" button in the top right corner. After registration, log in using the app.

Second: Change your network environment. If you insist on using the app, try switching Wi-Fi or cellular data. Some guides suggest switching the network to "Global Mode" and avoiding US and Singapore IP nodes. If network conditions are not suitable, using the website path is more convenient.

3. Found the register button but can't complete registration

Another scenario: The registration page opens, but when you input information and submit, it either shows an error or gets stuck. Troubleshoot in this order:

  1. Check email/phone number: Recommended to use Gmail or Outlook email. +86 phone numbers are currently usable but may receive verification codes slower than email
  2. Password strength: At least 8 characters, including uppercase letters and numbers
  3. Region selection: Choose "China" during registration, not Hong Kong or the US, or you'll have issues binding your phone number later
  4. Referral code: If you have a referral code from someone, you can fill it in during registration. If not, leave it blank—it won't affect registration

After successful registration, it shows "Go to Verification." Should I do it immediately? After registration, the app will prompt you to complete KYC identity verification. It's recommended to finish it as soon as possible, or you won't be able to deposit funds and trade. During verification, continue to select "China" as your region, upload the front and back of your ID, and complete facial recognition. It takes a few minutes to pass.

I downloaded the international version of Binance, but the page is in English and I can't find the registration. You can switch the language in the app settings, usually under [Profile] → [Settings] → [Language], select "Simplified Chinese," then look for the registration entry again.
