Why Is My Binance Referral Reward Pending Review?
The users you referred clearly completed transactions, but your referral reward is stuck at "Pending Review"—the review is not the platform deliberately delaying, but the system verifying whether the referred person meets all eligibility conditions.

Referral rewards must go through a review process before distribution. Once approved, the reward will be credited to your account.
Prerequisite: First figure out which referral mode you're using
Binance's referral program is divided into Referral Lite and Referral Pro, with different review rules and reward logic.
Referral Lite: After the referred person completes specified tasks, the referrer receives a one-time reward (issued as a voucher).
Referral Pro: The referrer earns an ongoing commission from the trading fees of the referred person.
First confirm which mode you're using before troubleshooting further.
Step 1: Check whether the referred person really "completed the tasks"
What to do: Check if the referred person completed the corresponding tasks within the specified time.
How to do it:
Case A – Referral Lite mode The referred person needs to complete the following two tasks within 14 days of registration:
Task 1: Accumulate cryptocurrency purchases exceeding $50 via fiat deposit, card purchase, or C2C.
Task 2: Accumulate a trading volume exceeding $100 via spot or convert function.
Both tasks must be completed for the referrer to be eligible for the reward.
Case B – Referral Pro mode The referred person only needs to complete registration and pass KYC, and the referrer will receive a commission from the referred person's trading fees.
When is it considered complete: Confirm that the referred person has indeed met all the necessary conditions of the corresponding mode.
Step 2: Check if the reward is still within the processing period
What to do: Confirm that the current time has not exceeded the normal distribution period.
Rule: Rewards are distributed within 48 hours after the referred person completes the tasks.
Example: If the referred person completed the tasks on July 22, 2026 at 14:00 (UTC), the referrer's reward will be distributed before July 24, 2026 at 14:00 (UTC).
When is it considered complete: If it hasn't been 48 hours yet, you just need to wait.
Step 3: Investigate whether the referred person crossed any "eligibility red lines"
This is the most common reason for "review failure".
What to do: Check for the following conditions that may be deemed "ineligible":
| Common Failure Reasons | Explanation |
|---|---|
| KYC not completed | The referral program requires both parties to complete identity verification. |
| Region not supported | Users in Singapore, Japan, Turkey, Israel, Hong Kong, Nigeria, UK retail users, EEA countries, etc., are restricted from participating in the referral program. |
| Unsupported payment method used | Purchases made via third-party payments, internal transfers between Binance accounts, or crypto deposits do not count toward the task requirements. |
| Exceeded 14-day period | Referral Lite mode requires the referred person to complete tasks within 14 days of registration; overdue attempts are invalid. |
| Violations | Registration from the same IP/device, bulk account registration, failure of risk assessment, etc., will result in disqualification. |
| Advertising violations | If the referral link is promoted through search engine ads or spoofed websites, commissions will be revoked. |
When is it considered complete: You check against the table item by item and confirm that no red lines have been triggered.
Step 4: Check if the referral relationship was successfully established
What to do: Confirm whether the referred person registered via your referral link and the referral relationship was successfully bound.
How to do it:
Open the [Referral] page and check the "Referred" list.
If the user does not appear in the list, the referral relationship may not have been successfully bound.
When is it considered complete: The referred person shows "Registered" or "In Progress" in your referral records.
Common Reasons for Failure
Purchased but amount not met—The task requires "exceeding $50", not "equal to $50". A shortfall of $0.01 counts as incomplete.
14-day period miscalculated—The clock starts from the registration date, not from the day you referred them.
The referred person already registered on Binance before—New user requirement means first-time registration; re-registration by an existing user does not count.
The referred person used another referral code—Each new user can only be bound to one referral code. If they bind someone else's in between, your referral relationship is broken.
Risk Reminder
Binance strictly prohibits registering multiple accounts from the same IP or device to obtain rewards; such behavior will be detected and disqualified.
After referral rewards are issued, some crypto/voucher codes may have validity periods or withdrawal restrictions; please check the specific instructions in the Reward Center.

How to Confirm the Operation is Correct
Open Binance [Referral] page → check the status of that referred person.
If the status changes from "Pending Review" to "Distributed", it means the review passed, and the reward has been credited to your account—go to [Reward Center] or [Spot Wallet] to confirm.
If the status becomes "Review Failed" or "Expired", it means the referred person crossed a red line from Step 3; you need to check the specific failure reason and inform the referred person to resolve it (e.g., complete KYC, redo the transaction through the correct channel).
