Binance Only Shows Corporate Verification? Why the Personal Verification Option Disappeared

If you only see the "Corporate Verification" option on Binance and the personal verification option is gone, your account is likely already marked as an "Entity Account" or a sub-account, not a personal account. Binance's personal verification and corporate verification are two completely separate systems. One email can only go through one path; you cannot have both identities at the same time.

Step 1: Check What Type of Account You Are Logged Into

First, understand your account's nature. This is the prerequisite for finding the personal verification option.

  • What to do: Check your account identity status.

  • How to do it: Log in to the Binance app or website, tap the profile icon in the top right to go to the [Account Center]. Then on the "Identification" page, check the current verification type. If the top of the page or a system prompt shows "Entity Verification" or "Corporate Verification" and asks you to upload company registration certificate, business license, etc., it means this account is already a corporate account.

  • Completion standard: Determine if your current account is a "Personal Account", "Entity Account", or "Delegate Verification Sub-account".

Step 2: Choose Your Next Steps Based on Account Type

If your account is indeed a corporate account, the personal verification option will not appear again. You will need to use a new account to go through the personal process.

  • Situation A: You are using the corporate Master Account. According to Binance's official rules, if your email is already linked to a personal account, that email cannot be upgraded to a corporate account. Conversely, if you went through the entity verification process to create a corporate account, that account is dedicated for business use, and the personal verification option will disappear. To get personal verification now, you need to use a completely new email that has never registered on Binance, and go through the personal registration and KYC process again.

  • Situation B: You are using a Delegate Account. The corporate master account can create a "Delegate Account" for someone else to submit corporate verification materials. This sub-account has no asset transfer or trading permissions; it can only be used to submit verification information. After logging in, it also only shows corporate verification pages. If you are the delegate, this account cannot do personal verification, and you don't need to.

Common Reasons for Failure

Many people think they can "switch identity" to turn a corporate account back into a personal account. However, once a Binance account's verification type is submitted, you cannot switch it yourself. If the corporate verification is not completed (in draft or under review), the page may show both options; but once it is officially submitted or approved, the personal verification option will not appear again.

How to Confirm the Steps Worked

On the identification page, if you clearly see "Entity Verification" and it asks for country of registration, company registration number, etc., your current account is on the corporate verification path. At this point, log out and use a new email that has never been registered to go through the personal registration process. If you can see the "Personal Verification" option, then the method is correct.

Next Steps

If you really need a personal account for everyday trading and your current account is a corporate one that can't be switched, the safest approach is: register a new personal account with a new email and complete KYC verification. If the corporate account was only set up by mistake or is still in draft status and hasn't been submitted, you can try contacting Binance support to explain the situation and request cancellation of the corporate verification process. However, if it has already been submitted, you'll usually just need to register a new account.
