First, understand what AI parameters are
When you click the "AI" tab, Binance automatically calculates a set of grid parameters based on the coin you selected and historical data, including the upper and lower price limits and the number of grids. This algorithm uses indicators such as Bollinger Bands and ATR, so the results are not randomly generated.
However, the AI mode has a limitation: its parameters are generated as fixed values, and you cannot directly edit them in the AI tab. Binance provides an official workaround: "Copy parameters to manual settings." This copies the AI-generated parameters to the manual creation page, after which you can adjust any parameter as needed.
How to do it step by step
Path: Trade → Trading Bots → Futures Grid/Spot Grid → Select your coin → Click the AI tab
After you see the AI-recommended parameters, there is a "Copy parameters to manual settings" button in the lower right corner or at the bottom of the page. Once you click it, the page will switch to manual creation mode, and the AI-calculated price range, number of grids, arithmetic/geometric mode, and other parameters will all be carried over.
At this point, you can manually adjust:
Adjust the upper and lower price limits, such as raising the upper limit or lowering the lower limit
Change the number of grids. More grids means a denser grid, but the profit per grid becomes smaller
Switch between "arithmetic" and "geometric" modes

A common misunderstanding
Many people think that once they click AI, the bot will keep using AI to dynamically update parameters. That is not true. AI only calculates the parameters once when you create the bot, and after that the values are fixed. If market conditions change, you need to repeat the process of "AI generation → copy to manual → adjust," or simply modify the parameters manually.
Risk reminder: Grid trading is an automated trading strategy, not a principal-guaranteed tool. After adjusting parameters, the new price range and grid count may change your margin usage and liquidation price. Before making adjustments, confirm that the available margin in your futures account is sufficient to cover the margin requirements of the new strategy.
How to verify the operation is complete: After modifying the parameters on the manual creation page, the "Create" button at the bottom of the page should become clickable. Once clicked, the strategy you just created will appear in the trading bot list with a status of "Running" or "Pending start."
