Binance CNY Deposit Not Showing? Check Your Region and Available Channels First

If you search for a RMB/CNY deposit on Binance and can't find the entry, you're probably mixing up two different features: "deposit" and "buy crypto". Binance does not let you directly deposit RMB into your account balance the way you would with a bank. Instead, you need to use the "C2C buy crypto" channel – buying USDT or other digital currencies from platform merchants with RMB.

Confirm Your Account Status

Before anything else, make sure your account can trade.

  • What to do: Check if your identity verification has been approved.

  • How to do it: Log in to the Binance app or website and go to the "Identity Verification" page to see your status.

  • Completion standard: It must show as "Verified". Accounts that haven't passed KYC will have the C2C trading portal hidden or won't be able to place orders.

  • Common failure reason: Selecting the wrong country for verification. If you chose a country or region where C2C fiat trading is not supported, you won't see the RMB option even if you enter the buy crypto page.

Find the Correct Entry Point

Don't click "Deposit"; go to the "Buy Crypto" or "C2C" section.

  • How to do it: On the Binance app home screen, tap the "Buy Crypto" button, or go to "Trade" in the bottom navigation bar and then switch to the "C2C" tab at the top.

  • Completion standard: You will see the C2C trading screen with "Buy" and "Sell" tabs, along with selectors for fiat currency and cryptocurrency.

Select a Trading Pair and Place an Order

  • What to do: On the C2C trading page, choose to buy USDT with RMB.

  • How to do it: In the fiat (Fiat) column, select "CNY"; in the cryptocurrency column, select "USDT". You will then see two trading zones:

    • Express zone: The system automatically matches you with suitable merchant ads based on your amount. Good for beginners.

    • P2P zone: You can filter merchants manually, checking their trading volume, completion rate, and whether they are a "Shield merchant" (higher security deposit, compensation for frozen bank cards with a compensation ratio of 10% up to 2000 USDT).

  • Completion standard: Decide on the order amount and merchant, then move to payment.

Make the Payment and Receive Your Crypto

  • What to do: Transfer the money using the method provided by the merchant and notify them to release the coins.

  • How to do it:

    1. The merchant will display a payment method (Alipay, WeChat, or bank card). The real-name information on your payment account must match the real-name information on your Binance account.

    2. When transferring, never write any sensitive words like "Binance", "USDT", or "buy crypto" in the transfer remarks.

    3. After you make the payment, be sure to click the "I have paid, notify the seller" button before the order countdown ends. This step is crucial – the platform will then start timing the seller to release the coins.

  • Completion standard: Once the merchant confirms receipt of payment, the USDT will be credited to your "Funding Wallet" and the order status will change to "Completed".

Risk reminder: C2C transactions are peer-to-peer transfers; funds do not pass through Binance. This means you could receive funds from unknown sources, which may cause your bank card to be frozen. Try to choose merchants with high trading volume, a good reputation, or the "Shield" badge to significantly reduce risk.

How to verify completion: Check your "Funding Wallet" balance – USDT has arrived means it's done. Next, if you want to trade crypto-to-crypto, you need to transfer the USDT from your "Funding Wallet" to your "Spot Wallet".

Next steps: After your first C2C trade, you may find the balance in your "Funding Wallet". To buy Bitcoin or other coins on the spot market, you must transfer within the app first. Go to the "Wallet" page, select "Transfer", and move USDT from "Funding Wallet" to "Spot Wallet".
