Binance Balance Not Increased After Redemption? Product Status and Crediting Account

After redeeming from Earn, your balance hasn't increased. Don't rush to repeat the operation—first confirm two key points: whether the product status is "Completed" or "Pending," and which wallet the funds went to.

Prerequisites

  • You are logged into your Binance account.
  • You have submitted a redemption request for an Earn product.
  • You know whether the redemption was for a flexible or locked product.

Step 1: First Check the Product Status – Flexible or Locked?

The redemption rules for flexible and locked products are completely different. First confirm which type you redeemed.

Case A: Flexible Product According to Binance official guidance, after a flexible product redemption application is successful, assets are immediately returned to your Spot Wallet. If your flexible redemption balance hasn't increased, the funds likely went elsewhere or it's a wallet refresh issue.

Case B: Locked Product Locked products are automatically redeemed in full on the redemption date, with both principal and rewards distributed together. If you redeem early, the assets will be returned to your Spot Wallet within 72 hours, but all accrued rewards will be deducted.

Completion criterion: You have confirmed the product type of this redemption and its corresponding rules.

Step 2: Check Where Rewards Went – Distinguish Between Two Wallets

Binance Earn rewards are not credited to a single account. Different reward types go to different wallets—this is why many people think the funds haven't arrived.

Instructions: Open the [Assets] page and view both the Spot Wallet and the Earn Wallet. According to Binance official explanations:

  • Real-time APR rewards: Accrue every minute, automatically distributed and accumulated in the Earn Wallet (not the Spot Wallet)
  • Tiered APR rewards: Calculated from the day after subscription, distributed to the Spot Wallet two days later

If you only checked the Spot Wallet, while the redeemed assets actually went back to the Earn Wallet, you'll naturally feel that something is "missing."

Completion criterion: You have checked both the Spot Wallet and Earn Wallet balance changes.

Step 3: Orders or Staking Making Balance "Unavailable"

The balance appears in your account but you can't withdraw or trade—this usually means the assets are occupied by another service.

Instructions: Check the following:

  • Unfilled open orders: Assets in open orders are frozen; they will be released after canceling the order
  • Staking or unstaking in progress: Assets are being staked or are in the redemption process; you need to wait for processing to complete
  • ACH deposit not settled: Within 7 days after using an ACH deposit, the corresponding amount cannot be withdrawn

Completion criterion: You have confirmed that the asset is not occupied by any open orders or staking services.

Common Reason for Failure: Looking Only at Spot Wallet, Not Earn Wallet

Real-time rewards from flexible products accumulate directly into the Earn Wallet and are not automatically transferred to the Spot Wallet. Many people only stare at the Spot Wallet balance after redeeming, but the money is actually in the Earn Wallet. You need to manually transfer assets from the Earn Wallet to the Spot Wallet to use them for trading.

Risk Reminder

Early redemption of locked products will result in losing all accumulated rewards, returning only the principal minus any rewards already distributed. If you're redeeming early because of urgent need for funds, make sure you are prepared to lose the interest. Additionally, daily redemption limits may cause delays; during extreme market volatility, arriving times may exceed expectations.

How to Verify After Completing the Operation

Open the Binance App [Assets] page and check both [Spot] and [Earn] wallets:

  1. Successful flexible product redemption: Assets should appear immediately in the Spot Wallet.
  2. Tiered rewards credited: Typically distributed to the Spot Wallet between 08:00-16:00 (UTC+8) on the subscription day +2 days.
  3. Early locked redemption: Arrives at the latest within 72 hours.

Verification channel: Binance App [Assets] → [Spot] and [Earn] pages, [Earn] → [History] to check redemption status.
