What Evidence Should You Prepare When Applying for Binance Deposit Recovery?

Before applying for a recovery, there are three core pieces of evidence: the Transaction ID (TxID), a screenshot of your Binance deposit address, and a video recording of your withdrawal history taken after logging into your external wallet or exchange. Screenshots and emails are not accepted. Binance only accepts unedited continuous screen recordings that meet the specified requirements. Applications with incomplete evidence will be rejected outright.

1. Confirm Eligibility for the Application

Purpose: Not all deposit errors can be processed. First check the following mandatory conditions to avoid wasted effort.

Steps:

  1. Your transaction must show as "Confirmed/Successful" on a blockchain explorer. If it is "Unconfirmed" or "Failed", Binance cannot handle it, and you need to contact the platform from which the assets were sent.

  2. The funds must have been transferred to a Binance account registered under your own name. If you mistakenly sent assets to an external address or made a deposit on behalf of someone else, Binance will not accept the application.

Completion criteria: Confirm that your TxID shows the transaction as successful on the blockchain and that the funds were indeed deposited into your own Binance account.

Wallet addresses are public information; a screenshot of an address alone cannot serve as proof of ownership. Binance requires you to log into the external account and record a video to demonstrate that you control the sending address.

2. Prepare Core Hard Evidence: Transaction ID (TxID) and Deposit Address

Purpose: These are the most critical identity credentials in the recovery process. All information must be completely accurate.

Steps:

  1. Transaction ID (TxID): Open the platform (wallet or exchange) from which you sent the assets and copy the transaction hash for this transfer. You must copy it directly; do not enter it manually. A single wrong character will prevent the system from matching the corresponding record, and the application will be rejected outright.

  2. Binance deposit address: Log into Binance and find the deposit address for the specific coin you copied at the time. If you cannot remember it, check your deposit history. The receiving address you fill in on the application must match exactly.

  3. Deposit amount and coin: Provide the figure accurate to 8 decimal places. Do not include any unnecessary commas in the amount.

Completion criteria: Have the TxID, Binance deposit address, corresponding coin, and amount ready in a text for reference.

Common reasons for failure:

  • Entering an incorrect TxID or address prevents the system from finding the corresponding transaction on-chain.

  • Filling in the USD value of the asset instead of the token quantity.

3. Prepare the Most Critical Video Evidence: Record a Screen Video According to Official Requirements

Purpose: If you are asked to undergo video verification, this is the core material that best proves asset ownership. Binance does not accept content generated directly by screen-recording software; you must film with another device.

Steps:

  1. Prepare two devices: one to operate the account from which the assets were sent, and another to film the entire process. If you are using a computer, you can use a phone to record the computer screen.

  2. At the beginning or end of the video, you must clearly show your full facial features and your original physical ID document.

  3. Record the following steps in one continuous, unedited clip. The entire process must not be edited:

    • Log into your external wallet or exchange account where the assets were sent. Do not show the password; only film the normal login flow.

    • Open the transaction history page on that platform and locate the record of the funds sent to Binance.

    • Click on the transaction details and clearly display the transaction date, coin, amount, receiving address, and transaction hash. Click on the TxID to open the full transaction page on a blockchain explorer.

Completion criteria: Produce a single continuous unedited video that includes your face, your ID document, and a complete demonstration of the withdrawal record from the external account along with the corresponding TxID page.

4. Submit the Application and Track Progress

Purpose: Go to the Binance self-service recovery page and submit all verification materials.

Steps:

  1. Log into Binance and go to the "Deposit Not Credited" self-service recovery page.

  2. Paste the TxID. If the system can recognize it, the form will be filled in automatically. If not, manually enter the corresponding coin, receiving address, and amount.

  3. If you need to upload video materials, submit them as prompted. Video must be in .mp4, .mov, or .rmvb format and no larger than 200MB.

  4. After submitting the application, wait for feedback on the "Application Records" page. If customer support requests additional materials, submit them promptly as instructed.

Completion criteria: Successfully submit the application, obtain the corresponding application record number, and see the status showing as "In Progress".

Risk notice:

  • The video review requirements are very strict: if the footage is too dark, blurry, generated by screen-recording software, does not show your face, does not show your ID, or has been edited, the application will be rejected outright and you will be required to resubmit.

  • A fee will be charged for the deposit recovery service, and recovery is not 100% guaranteed: The fee is only deducted upon successful recovery. Fees vary by scenario; for example, missing Memo usually only incurs the corresponding network fee, while smart recovery generally costs 1 USDT. Due to technical and process limitations, Binance does not guarantee that all applications can be successfully recovered.

After submitting your application, if you see the status on the application records page change to "In Progress", it means your materials have been accepted normally. Processing times vary by error type – for example, missing Memo cases usually require more than 7 business days. Check your application status regularly. If your application is rejected, adjust the materials according to the stated reason and resubmit; do not submit the exact same content again.
