What to Do If You Can’t Find the Required Network on the Binance Deposit Page?

When the network you need doesn't appear on the Binance deposit page, there are usually three possible reasons: the network simply doesn't support the selected coin, Binance is currently carrying out wallet maintenance on that network, or the platform has decided to stop supporting deposits of that coin on that network. You can choose a compatible network still supported by Binance, wait for maintenance to end, or switch to another supported network. The key rule: never force a deposit using an unsupported or mismatched network – a network mismatch will directly result in permanent loss of your assets.

1. First, Confirm: Does the Coin Actually Support This Network?

Goal: Determine whether the missing network is a temporary issue or a structural lack of support.

Steps:

  1. Log in to Binance, go to DepositDeposit Crypto, and search for the coin you want to deposit.

  2. Binance will display a list of all supported networks and the corresponding deposit addresses for that coin. The platform clearly states that only the networks shown on this page are supported; any other network cannot be used to receive assets properly.

  3. If the network you want is not on the list, it means Binance simply doesn't support deposits of that coin via that network – this is not a case of temporary hiding.

Completion standard: You can clearly distinguish between "the coin is entirely unsupported on this network on Binance" and "the network is normally supported but temporarily unavailable".

Tokens on different networks are entirely separate assets. For example, USDT can be deposited via ERC20 (Ethereum), TRC20 (Tron), BEP20 (BNB Smart Chain), and other networks, but each network has its own deposit address, and assets cannot move freely between them.

2. Scenario A: Network Under Maintenance – Wait or Switch

Goal: If a network is normally supported but temporarily missing, first check whether it's under wallet maintenance.

Steps:

  1. Look for yellow or red notice banners on the deposit page saying "Under Maintenance" or "Deposits Suspended".

  2. Binance regularly performs wallet upgrades. During maintenance, deposits and withdrawals on that network are suspended. Services automatically resume once maintenance is complete, usually without a separate special announcement.

  3. You can click Set a reminder to receive a notification from the platform when maintenance ends.

Completion standard: You confirm that the suspension is due to maintenance and can choose to wait for it to resume or use another available network to complete your deposit.

Routine maintenance typically lasts about 1 hour, sometimes as short as 15 minutes. If you need the funds to arrive urgently, check whether the coin has other supported alternative networks. For instance, BTC only supports the Bitcoin mainnet and cannot be changed, but USDT can be deposited via TRC20 or BEP20 networks.

3. Scenario B: Binance Has Stopped Supporting the Coin on That Network – Find an Alternative

Goal: If Binance has announced that deposits for a specific token on a certain network are discontinued, that network will disappear completely from the deposit page. You need to select an alternative from the currently supported networks.

Steps:

  1. Check Binance's announcement page to confirm whether deposit support for that network has been stopped due to business adjustments.

  2. Typical example: Binance once stopped supporting deposits of multiple tokens on BNB Smart Chain, including ATA, QI, LINA, and UNFI.

  3. If the announcement says deposits via that network have been permanently disabled, the deposit path is completely invalid. Check whether the coin has any other network that is still supported.

Completion standard: You confirm that the coin on that network is no longer supported and have found an alternative deposit network that is currently available on Binance.

Common causes of issues:

  • Address migrated: When Binance upgrades its wallet infrastructure, old addresses are retired and users are asked to obtain a new address. The deposit page will not show deprecated old addresses. You can simply get a new address to continue. After receiving a migration email, the old address will be permanently disabled after 30 days.

  • Confusing support lists across different coins: The set of supported networks differs completely from coin to coin. For example, WIF can be deposited on the Solana network, but may not be supported at all on the Ethereum network.

  • Account KYC not completed: In very few regions, or for users who haven't completed identity verification, some fiat-related deposit options may be invisible. Regular cryptocurrency deposits are generally not affected by this rule.

Risk warnings:

  • Never force a deposit to an unsupported network: Binance explicitly warns that if the deposit network does not match a network supported by the platform, your assets may be permanently lost and cannot be recovered.

  • Act promptly after receiving an address migration notice: Old deposit addresses automatically become invalid 30 days after you successfully obtain a new address or receive the migration email. Assets sent to old addresses will not be credited automatically; you must use the "One-Click Transfer" feature or submit a ticket for manual processing.

How to verify you are proceeding correctly:

Search for the coin on the deposit page. If the network you need appears and its status shows "Normal", you can use it safely. If the target network is not there, confirm whether the coin has another available supported network and use that network for the deposit. When making the transfer, the network on both the sending and receiving sides must be identical to avoid asset loss.
