What to Do If Your Binance Deposit Is Confirmed on Blockchain but Not Credited?

The "Success" status on the blockchain only indicates the transaction was completed on-chain. It does not mean Binance has credited your account. If the required number of confirmations has been reached but your deposit still doesn't appear after more than 1 hour, go directly to Binance's self-service recovery process—this is the fastest and most effective way.

1. Check On-Chain Status and Confirmations First

What to do: Open a blockchain explorer, confirm the transaction status is "Success," and verify the receiving address.

How to do it:

  1. Copy your TxID (transaction hash) and paste it into the corresponding blockchain explorer (BscScan for BSC, Etherscan for ETH, Tronscan for TRC20, etc.).

  2. Check the transaction status:

    • Success: Proceed to the next step.

    • Fail / Pending: The issue is on the sender's side. Contact the sending platform; Binance cannot help.

  3. Check the number of confirmations (Block Confirmations) to see if it meets Binance's requirement for that coin. Some coins require a certain number of block confirmations before they are credited to your account—for example, FIL requires 910 confirmations.

  4. Verify that the "To" (receiving address) matches exactly the deposit address you copied from Binance.

When you're done: The status is "Success," confirmations are sufficient, and the receiving address is correct. If confirmations are still insufficient, just wait.

Prerequisite: You have the TxID for this transaction.

Binance clearly requires: Only submit a recovery request for transactions marked as "Confirmed/Success" on the blockchain. Unconfirmed transactions cannot be processed.

2. Check if There Is Network Maintenance Causing Delays

What to do: Check if Binance is performing maintenance on that network.

How to do it:

  1. Log in to Binance, go to the Deposit page, and select the relevant coin and network.

  2. Look for a yellow or red notice at the top of the page saying "This network is under maintenance."

  3. If maintenance is ongoing, your funds will be credited automatically once maintenance is completed. No request is needed.

When you're done: Confirm there is no maintenance notice, or maintenance has ended.

3. Submit a Request via the Self-Service Recovery Process

What to do: Submit a "Deposit not credited" self-service recovery request on the Binance website. This is the official channel for handling cases where a deposit is confirmed on-chain but not credited.

How to do it:

  1. Log in to your Binance account and visit the self-service recovery page (you can find the entry in the Help Center).

  2. Paste the TxID and click Submit.

    • If the system recognizes the transaction, the coin, network, deposit address, and amount will be filled in automatically.

    • If not, manually fill in these details:

      • Coin: Enter the full coin ticker (e.g., "USDT" not "U").

      • Deposit Network/Address: Fill in the receiving address, i.e., your Binance deposit address.

      • Deposit Amount: Supports up to 8 decimal places; remove thousand separators.

  3. After verifying the information is correct, submit it.

  4. Check the status of your request in the Application Records.

When you're done: You have successfully submitted the request and received an application number.

Common reasons for failure:

  • Incorrect transaction amount: Using thousand separators or wrong decimal places will cause the system not to recognize it.

  • Duplicate submission: If the same transaction has already been submitted, the system will reject it—just check the existing status in application records.

  • Wrong address: You filled in the sender's address instead of your Binance deposit address.

  • Transaction already credited: If the funds were credited while you were submitting the request, the application will be rejected.

4. Wait for Processing or Provide Additional Materials as Required

What to do: Monitor your application status and provide supplementary verification materials if needed.

How to do it:

  1. Check status updates in Application Records.

  2. If Binance requests additional materials (such as a video proving the transaction's authenticity or the transaction record from the sending platform), follow the instructions.

  3. Processing times and fees vary by type:

Deposit Recovery TypeEstimated TimeFeeResult
Deposit not credited5 business daysFreeCredited
Missing or incorrect Memo at deposit7 business daysNetwork withdrawal feeRefund
Deposited old/delisted tokens5 business daysNetwork withdrawal feeRefund
Smart Recovery14 business days1 USDTRefund
Unlisted tokens deposited via a supported network30 business days20 USDTRefund

Risk reminders:

  • No guarantee of success: Binance states that due to technical complexity, it cannot guarantee recovery, and not all deposits can be recovered.

  • Fees are only charged upon success: The fee is only charged if the funds are successfully retrieved.

  • Deposits not made by you cannot be processed: If the funds were deposited into another user's Binance account, Binance cannot help you.

How to confirm you have completed the process correctly?

After submitting the self-service recovery request, you should see your ticket number and the "Processing" status in Application Records, which means it has entered the workflow. Check the status regularly and do not submit duplicate requests. If the status changes to "Completed," check your Binance spot wallet balance—the funds should have been credited or returned to the original address.
