How to Deposit TRX to Binance? Address and Network Check
The core rule for TRX deposit: you must choose the correct network. Binance supports TRX deposits on multiple networks, with TRC20 (Tron mainnet) being the most recommended and widely used. If your wallet or withdrawal platform supports only a specific network, select the same one on Binance—both sides must match exactly. Important reminder: Binance has stopped supporting TRX deposits via BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) as of June 24, 2026, 16:00. Do not select this network, or your funds will not arrive.

Complete Binance Account KYC
What to do: Ensure your Binance account has completed identity verification.
How to do it:
- Log in to the Binance App or website, go to 【Account Center】 → 【Identity Verification】.
- Follow the instructions to submit your ID documents and complete standard identity verification.
How to know it's complete: The account shows "Verified" or "Standard Identity Verification" status.
Accounts that have not completed KYC cannot use the deposit function.
Get a TRX Deposit Address on Binance
What to do: Log in to Binance, go to the deposit page, select the network, and obtain the corresponding TRX deposit address.
Prerequisites: Completed Binance KYC identity verification.
How to do it:
- Log in to the Binance App or website, click 【Wallet】 → 【Deposit】 → 【Deposit Crypto】.
- Search for "TRX".
- Select the network: Binance supports multiple networks, for example:
- TRON (TRC20): Recommended, TRX native network, address starts with "T"
- BNB Smart Chain (BEP20): TRX deposits via this network have been stopped since June 24, 2026, 16:00
- Other networks (such as Ethereum ERC20, etc.)
- After selecting the network, the page will generate the deposit address and QR code for that network. Click 【Copy】 to copy the address.
How to know it's complete: You have copied the TRX deposit address provided by Binance and are clear about which network you selected.
Some networks may require a Memo/Tag, but TRC20 usually does not. Always refer to what is displayed on the deposit page.
Initiate the Transfer from an External Wallet: Networks Must Match
What to do: Deposit TRX from your external wallet (e.g., imToken, TP Wallet, Trust Wallet) to Binance.
How to do it:
- Open your external wallet, find your TRX asset, and click 【Send】 or 【Transfer】.
- Paste the TRX address you copied from Binance into the "Recipient Address" field.
- Most critical step: In the "Select Network" section, you must choose the exact same network as Binance's deposit page. For example:
- If Binance selected TRON (TRC20), your wallet must select TRON or TRC20.
- If the networks on both sides don't match, funds may be lost and cannot be recovered.
- Ensure your wallet has enough TRX to pay gas fees (TRON network transfers consume bandwidth and energy, typically covered by a small amount of TRX; keep some as transaction fee).
- Submit the transfer.
How to know it's complete: The transaction is submitted, the wallet shows "Transaction broadcast" or "Pending confirmation", and you have obtained a TxID.
Common reasons for failure:
- Wrong network selected: Binance chose TRC20, but the wallet chose BEP20 or ERC20. Note that BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) no longer supports TRX deposits.
- Incorrect address: TRC20 addresses start with "T". If the address prefix is wrong, it indicates a network or address problem.
- Insufficient gas fee: The wallet does not have enough TRX to pay the transaction fee.
Risk reminders:
- Network mismatch = funds may be permanently lost: Choosing the wrong network is the most common reason for deposit failure; Binance repeatedly emphasizes this.
- BEP20 network is no longer supported: After June 24, 2026, TRX deposits via BNB Smart Chain will not be credited and may result in asset loss.

Confirm the Arrival
What to do: Wait for blockchain confirmations and check your Binance account balance.
How to do it:
- Use the TxID to check the transaction status on the corresponding block explorer (Tronscan for TRC20, BscScan for BEP20, etc.).
- Log in to Binance, go to 【Wallet】 → 【Spot Account】, and check whether the TRX balance has increased.
How to know it's complete: The TRX balance in your Binance Spot Account has been updated.
How to confirm you have operated correctly?
Enter the TxID in the block explorer and confirm the transaction status is "Success". Then log in to Binance and see the TRX balance increased on the 【Assets】 page. For first-time operations, it is recommended to send a small test amount first, and transfer the remainder after it arrives. If it does not arrive after a long time, check whether the network selected during deposit and the wallet's transfer network are exactly the same—this is the most common reason TRX deposits get stuck.
