The main place to check event eligibility is [Profile] → [Reward Center]. To confirm whether you can join a specific event, you need to check three key things on the event page: region, KYC, and account status.

Step 1: Check Region and User Restrictions on the Event Page

Each event announcement usually starts with a sentence explaining the applicable regions and target users. Read that first.

  • What to do: Open the Binance event details page and carefully read the "Terms & Conditions."

  • How to do it: In the event rules or terms, it often states: "This event may be restricted in certain jurisdictions or for certain users." Currently, most promotions are only available to users in specific compliant regions. Countries like Canada, Japan, and some European Economic Area countries have been clearly excluded from many events. If the event states "only for registered users in specific regions" or "not applicable to your region," and you are not in a supported region, you are not eligible.

  • Completion standard: You do not see a "This event is not available in your region" notice, and your region is not on the restricted list.

Step 2: Verify Your Identity Verification Status on the Profile Page

All official events require identity verification. This step is not just about completing KYC, but also checking whether your KYC level meets the event's requirements.

  • What to do: Check if your identity verification status shows "Verified."

  • How to do it: On the Binance App homepage, tap the [Profile] icon in the top left corner to enter your profile page. Here you can see your identity verification status, VIP level, and other info. If KYC is incomplete or required documents are missing, the system will treat you as an "unqualified user."

  • Completion standard: The profile page shows "Verified" and the verification level meets the event requirement (some events require Advanced Verification).

Step 3: Check Your Received Rewards in the [Reward Center]

After completing the above two steps, if you are eligible and have finished the tasks, rewards will appear in the [Reward Center].

  • What to do: Log into your Binance account, click the profile icon in the top right corner, and select [Reward Center].

  • How to do it: Under the [My Vouchers] or [Enjoy Rewards] tab, check for received vouchers or event rewards. Vouchers not redeemed within the validity period will expire automatically.

  • Completion standard: You can see unlocked reward records or redeemable vouchers.

Common Reasons for Ineligibility

Many people see an event entry and assume they can join. However, if the account has not completed KYC, is in a restricted region, or is a sub-account (not the main account), most tasks and tournaments will not count. Check your identity verification status on the profile page first, then go back to the event page to confirm eligibility.

Users who have traded at least $200,000 in OTC volume in any 30-day period can have their OTC trading volume counted at a 4x multiplier toward VIP assessment, helping them upgrade VIP status faster. In addition to lower platform fees, some exclusive events or higher invitation commission tiers may only be open to VIP users.

How to Verify Completion

Open the Binance App, go to [Profile] → [Reward Center], and check if there are any new rewards to claim. If you joined an event earlier but cannot find a record, it probably means you were not eligible due to region restrictions or incomplete KYC.

Next Steps

Make it a habit to check the Reward Center regularly. The day after completing a trade or event task, come back to see if any new vouchers have arrived under "My Vouchers." If a reward is delayed, first check the event's region restrictions and your KYC status—these two factors account for the vast majority of "ineligible" cases.
