Four things to include in the body
Your request does not need to be long. Just clearly state the following four items:

OKX's privacy notice recognizes the right to data portability, meaning you can receive the personal data you provided in an electronic format. If you just want a record and do not care about the format, simply write "a copy."
Second, prove you are the account holder. Send the request from your registered email address. This is the most natural way to link you to the account. Do not include your password, 2FA codes, private keys, or seed phrases in the email. If extra verification is needed, OKX may ask you to confirm through an in-account channel or provide specific parts of an identity document, but do not proactively send full ID photos in your first email. How to check progress after sending
After sending, keep a record of the sent email. If you use a service like Gmail that supports read receipts, you can request one, but the recipient may not respond to it. A more practical way to check is to see whether you receive an automatic reply or a ticket number. OKX's privacy notice mentions that the Middle East entity commits to providing access within 30 days, but time limits for other regions or entities are not uniformly stated on public pages. Do not assume that all accounts are subject to a 30-day deadline.
If you receive no confirmation within two weeks, you can follow up once in the same email thread, referring to the original email's date and subject line. Do not send a new email, because that may place your request back at the start of the queue. If there is no response for a long time and your region has a data protection authority such as a DPA in the EU or the ICO in the UK, you may consider filing a complaint, but this is usually a step to take after internal channels have been exhausted.
One limitation to keep in mind
