How to View Multiple K-Line Charts at Once on OKX Web: Setting Up Your Layout

OKX web lets you view multiple K-line charts at the same time through the multi-chart layout feature located above the K-line chart on the trading page, not through a "workspace" concept. Workspace is a separate feature: it saves the entire trading page layout template, including chart positions and sidebar component toggles, and you can create up to 10 workspaces. If you want to display several K-line charts side by side on your screen, simply switch to multi-chart layout. If you want to save a fixed analysis interface so it looks the same next time you open it, then you need to use workspaces.

Multi-Chart Layout: Directly Splitting into Multiple K-Line Charts

Enter any trading pair page, find the square icon above the K-line chart, and click it to choose the multi-chart display format. You can select two, four, or more charts side by side as needed. Official documentation states it typically supports up to 8 charts simultaneously, though the exact number may vary by device and platform version.

After splitting the screen, each chart can independently select a trading pair. This means you can view BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, and SOL/USDT K-line charts on one screen without switching pages back and forth. Each chart's time frame can also be set individually: put BTC's 1-hour chart on the left, ETH's 15-minute chart on the right, and SOL's daily chart in the middle, all independent without interfering with each other.

Indicators and drawing tools are also added independently per chart. If you add a moving average to the first chart, it will not automatically appear on the second chart; you need to add indicators to each chart individually as needed.

Sync Settings: For Linking Multiple Charts

If you want the crosshairs, time range, or trading pairs of multiple charts to stay consistent, you can find the "Sync chart settings under multi-chart" area in multi-chart view and check the items you want to sync: trading pair, time frame, crosshair, time and date range. After checking "Crosshair," when you hover your mouse over one chart, the other charts will also show crosshairs at the same time point, making it easier to compare the trends of different trading pairs at the same moment.

But there is one limitation to know: order lines and position lines only display in single-chart layout. In multi-chart view, you cannot see your own pending orders and position markers. If you need to watch your order positions while viewing charts, multi-chart layout cannot provide this information; you need to switch back to single-chart view or check the order panel.

Workspace: Saving Layout Templates, Not the Split Screen Itself

Workspace solves a different problem. After you have adjusted an interface—where charts are placed, which components are displayed on the right side (trade data, market overview, data window, etc.)—you can save this configuration as a workspace and load it directly after logging in next time without rearranging everything again.

The creation entry is the "+" sign on the right side of the trading page. Click it and select your preferred layout template to generate a workspace. You can only create up to 10 workspaces. Once you reach the limit, you need to delete an old one before creating a new one. The deletion path is: click "..." on the right side of the workspace you want to delete, select delete, and confirm.

The relationship between workspace and multi-chart layout is: you can use multi-chart layout within a workspace and then save "that workspace." Next time you open this workspace, the multi-chart configuration (as well as the trading pairs and time frames you selected) will be restored. But the workspace itself does not restrict whether you use single or multiple charts; it simply saves the overall state of your current page.

Completion Criteria

If you want to view multiple K-line charts at the same time: click the square icon above the K-line chart, select a side-by-side layout, and two or more independent charts appear on the screen. Each chart can switch trading pairs and time frames independently. That's it. No need to touch workspaces.

If you want this multi-chart layout to appear every time you open it, without repeating the setup: after adjusting the multi-chart layout, confirm that the current state is saved in the workspace dropdown menu on the right, or use the "+" sign to save the current layout as a named workspace. Next time, select it from the workspace list, and the multi-chart configuration will be restored together.
