OKX supports deposits and withdrawals of native Zilliqa mainnet ZIL, and ZIL trading was officially launched in May 2018. Below are the complete steps for transferring ZIL from an external wallet or platform to OKX.
Prerequisites
You have registered an OKX account and completed identity verification. Verification is required to use deposit and trading functions.
Your ZIL is on the Zilliqa mainnet (address format starts with zil1), and your wallet (such as ZilPay, or MetaMask configured for the Zilliqa network) has sufficient balance to cover the network miner fee.
You fully control the wallet holding the ZIL and can initiate a transfer normally.
Step 1: Log in to OKX and obtain a ZIL deposit address
App:
Open the OKX App, tap [Assets] → [Deposit] at the bottom.
Enter "ZIL" or "Zilliqa" in the search box and select ZIL.
Select Zilliqa as the network (Zilliqa mainnet).
The page will display a deposit address starting with zil1. Tap to copy it.
Web:
Log in to the OKX website, click [Asset Management] → [Deposit].
Search for ZIL and select the Zilliqa network.
Copy the displayed deposit address.
Completion criteria: You have successfully copied the ZIL deposit address generated by OKX.
If you accidentally select another network (such as BSC or ERC20), the system may indicate that the network does not support ZIL deposits. Be sure to select the Zilliqa network.
Step 2: Initiate the ZIL transfer from your external wallet
Open your wallet that holds ZIL (such as ZilPay, Atomic Wallet, or any wallet supporting the Zilliqa mainnet).
Choose "Send" or "Transfer", and paste the OKX deposit address you copied in Step 1.
Enter the amount of ZIL you intend to deposit (note: some wallets require a miner fee reserve, so your available balance must exceed the transfer amount).
Verify the address carefully, confirm the transaction, and pay the network miner fee.
Completion criteria: The transfer is submitted successfully, a transaction hash (TxID) is generated, and it can be checked on a blockchain explorer.
Step 3: Confirm the deposit arrival
Return to the OKX App or website and go to [Assets] → [Deposit History].
ZIL deposit arrival requires confirmations on the Zilliqa mainnet, usually within a few minutes to several tens of minutes, depending on network congestion.
When the deposit status changes to "Completed" and your ZIL balance on the [Assets] page increases, the deposit is successful.
Completion criteria: The OKX Assets page shows that your ZIL balance has been updated.
Common Reasons for Failure
Deposited a wrapped version of ZIL (e.g., BEP-20 or ERC-20 ZIL)
If you hold wrapped ZIL tokens on BSC or Ethereum, sending them directly to a Zilliqa mainnet address will not be credited. The OKX deposit page only accepts native ZIL on the Zilliqa mainnet. If you hold wrapped versions, use a cross-chain bridge to swap them back to mainnet ZIL before proceeding.
Risk Reminders
Wrong network risk: Sending ZIL to a non-Zilliqa mainnet address (such as a BSC or ETH address) may result in permanent loss of assets. Always confirm that the network selection is Zilliqa on the deposit page before proceeding.
Address verification: After copying the deposit address, compare the first and last few characters character by character when pasting into the wallet to prevent clipboard hijacking or replacement.

How to Confirm a Deposit Is Completed
After submitting a deposit, check the status in OKX [Deposit History]. When the status changes from "Processing" to "Completed" and the ZIL balance under [Assets] increases, the deposit is successful. It is recommended to exit the app and re-enter the Assets page to refresh the balance display.
