SUI is the native token of the Sui blockchain. The only correct network for deposits is the Sui mainnet (Sui Network). Before you begin, make sure the SUI in your wallet is on the Sui network. Then, on the OKX deposit page, select the Sui network to get your deposit address – just keep both networks consistent.

1. Complete OKX Account KYC

Requirements: Ensure your OKX account has passed identity verification.

Steps:

Log in to the OKX app or website and go to 【Profile】 → 【Identity Verification】.
Follow the instructions to submit your identity documents and complete standard identity verification.

Completion criteria: Your account shows "Verified" or "Standard Identity Verification" status.

Accounts that have not completed KYC cannot use the deposit function.

2. Get Your SUI Deposit Address on OKX

Requirements: Log in to OKX, go to the deposit page, obtain a SUI deposit address, and confirm the network is Sui mainnet.

Steps:

Log in to the OKX app or website, click 【Assets】 → 【Deposit】 → 【Deposit Crypto】.
Search for "SUI".
Select the network: Choose 【Sui】 or 【Sui Network】 – this is the native network of SUI and the one supported by OKX for SUI deposits.
The page will generate a deposit address. Copy it.

Completion criteria: You have copied the SUI deposit address provided by OKX and confirmed the selected network is Sui mainnet.

Prerequisite: OKX KYC identity verification has been completed.

The native token address of SUI on the Sui chain is 0x2::sui::SUI; when depositing, always use the address shown on the deposit page. SUI may have wrapped versions on other chains (e.g., BSC, Ethereum). OKX currently mainly supports deposits on the Sui mainnet. Please refer to the network options displayed on the deposit page for the most accurate information.

3. Send SUI from Your External Wallet

Requirements: Send SUI from your external wallet (such as OKX Web3 Wallet, Sui Wallet, or wallet compatible with WalletConnect) to your OKX deposit address.

Steps:

Open your external wallet, locate your SUI asset, and click 【Send】 or 【Transfer】.
Paste the SUI address you copied from OKX into the "Recipient address" field.
Critical step: In the "Network" selection, you must choose 【Sui】 or 【Sui Network】 – exactly the same network you selected on OKX.
Make sure your wallet has enough SUI to cover the gas fee (Sui network transfers require a small amount of SUI as a transaction fee).
Submit the transaction.

Completion criteria: The transaction has been submitted, the wallet shows "Transaction broadcast" or "Pending confirmation", and you have a TxID.

Common reasons for failure:

Wrong network: OKX is set to Sui mainnet but your wallet selects another network – SUI variants on different chains are not interchangeable; choosing the wrong network will result in loss of funds.
Incorrect address format: Sui addresses start with "0x". Make sure you copy the full address.
Insufficient gas fee: Your wallet does not have enough SUI to pay the transaction fee.

Risk reminders:

Network mismatch = potential permanent loss of funds: OKX explicitly warns that when depositing or withdrawing, both platforms must select the same coin and network, otherwise assets may be lost.
Deposit addresses are unique: Each coin on each network has a different deposit address. Do not use a deposit address intended for another coin or network for your SUI deposit.

4. Confirm the Deposit

Requirements: Wait for blockchain confirmations and check your OKX account balance.

Steps:

Use the TxID to check the transaction status on a Sui blockchain explorer.
Log in to OKX and go to 【Assets】 → 【Funding Account】 or 【Trading Account】 to see if your SUI balance has increased.

Completion criteria: Your OKX trading account SUI balance has been updated.

Verification note: Enter the TxID in a Sui explorer and confirm the transaction status is "Success". Then log in to OKX and check your 【Assets】 page – seeing an increased SUI balance means the deposit was successful. For first-time deposits, it is recommended to send a small test amount first, and transfer the rest only after it arrives. If the deposit hasn't arrived after a long time, first check whether the network you selected during deposit matches the network used by your wallet – this is the most common cause of stuck SUI deposits.
