PENDLE is also deployed on multiple networks such as Arbitrum, BNB Chain, etc. When depositing, you must select the exact same network option on the OKX page as the network where your assets are held in your wallet. 1. Complete OKX Account KYC

What to do: Ensure your OKX account has completed identity verification.

How to do it:

  1. Log in to the OKX App or web platform, go to [Profile] → [Identity Verification].

  2. Follow the instructions to submit your identity documents and complete standard identity verification.

What counts as completed: Your account shows "Verified" or "Standard Identity Verification" status.

Accounts that have not completed KYC cannot use the deposit function.

2. Confirm the Network Where Your PENDLE is Currently Located

What to do: Open the wallet holding your PENDLE and check which chain the tokens are on.

How to do it:

  1. PENDLE is deployed on multiple networks, including Ethereum (ERC20), Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) and Avalanche C-Chain.

  2. View the PENDLE asset details in your wallet and confirm which chain is displayed in the "Network" field.

  3. PENDLE on different networks has different contract addresses and they are not interchangeable. Before depositing, you must confirm the network where your PENDLE is held in your wallet.

What counts as completed: You clearly know which network your PENDLE is currently on — Ethereum, Arbitrum, BSC or Avalanche.

PENDLE has different contract addresses on different networks. When depositing from OKX, the selected network must exactly match the network where the assets are held in your wallet.

3. Get the PENDLE Deposit Address on OKX

What to do: Log in to OKX, go to the deposit page, select the corresponding network and get the deposit address.

How to do it:

  1. Log in to the OKX App or web platform, click [Assets] → [Deposit] → [Deposit Crypto].

  2. Search for "PENDLE".

  3. Select Network: Based on the network where your PENDLE is held in your wallet, choose the corresponding option:

    • Ethereum (ERC20): PENDLE mainnet, contract address 0x808507121b80c02388fad14726482e061b8da827

    • Arbitrum: Contract address 0x0c880f6761F1af8d9Aa9C466984b80DAb9a8c9e8

    • BNB Smart Chain (BEP20): Contract address 0xb3Ed0A426155B79B898849803E3B36552f7ED507

    • Avalanche C-Chain: Contract address 0xfB98B335551a418cD0737375a2ea0ded62Ea213b

  4. The page will generate the deposit address for that network. Copy it.

What counts as completed: You have copied the PENDLE deposit address provided by OKX and confirmed that the selected network exactly matches the network where your assets are held in your wallet.

Prerequisite: OKX KYC identity verification completed. OKX listed PENDLE for spot trading and opened deposits on September 27, 2024.

4. Initiate the Transfer from Your External Wallet

What to do: Deposit PENDLE from your external wallet (such as MetaMask, OKX Web3 Wallet, etc.) to OKX.

How to do it:

  1. Open your external wallet and ensure the current network is switched to the network where your PENDLE is held (e.g., Ethereum, Arbitrum, etc.).

  2. Find the PENDLE asset and click [Send] or [Transfer].

  3. In the "Recipient Address" field, paste the PENDLE address you copied from OKX.

  4. Critical step: In the "Select Network" section, confirm that the chosen network is exactly the same as the network selected on the OKX deposit page.

  5. Ensure you have enough gas fee tokens in your wallet (ETH on Ethereum network, ETH on Arbitrum, BNB on BSC, etc.).

  6. Submit the transaction.

What counts as completed: The transaction has been submitted, the wallet shows "Transaction broadcast" or "Pending confirmation", and you have obtained the TxID.

Common reasons for failure:

  • Wrong network selected: OKX chose the Ethereum network, but the wallet chose Arbitrum or another network. Funds are sent to the wrong chain and cannot be credited.

  • Insufficient gas fees: The wallet does not have enough gas tokens to pay the transaction fee.

  • Incomplete address copy: The PENDLE address starts with "0x". After pasting, check the first and last few characters.

Risk reminder:

  • Network mismatch may lead to irreversible loss of funds: Depositing to an unsupported network may cause asset loss.

  • Deposit addresses are unique: Each token on each network has a different deposit address. Do not use an address for another token or network for PENDLE deposits.

5. Confirm the Deposit Arrival

What to do: Wait for blockchain confirmation and check your OKX account balance.

How to do it:

  1. Use the TxID to check the transaction status on the respective network's block explorer (Etherscan for Ethereum, Arbiscan for Arbitrum, BscScan for BSC, etc.).

  2. Log in to OKX, go to [Assets] → [Funding Account] or [Trading Account], and check whether the PENDLE balance has increased.

What counts as completed: The PENDLE balance in your OKX trading account has been updated.

How to confirm you have operated correctly?

Enter the TxID on the corresponding network's block explorer and confirm the transaction status is "Success". Then log in to OKX and see the PENDLE balance increase on the [Assets] page. For the first operation, it is recommended to transfer a small amount as a test first, and transfer the remainder after it arrives. If the deposit does not arrive for a long time, check whether the network selected during deposit and the network used for the wallet transfer are exactly the same — this is the most common issue with PENDLE deposits.
